Yes its a sequel. You dont HAVE to watch the movie, but there is a story line that calls back to it.

I love the actor who plays Deputy Solverson's dad. He has such a presence. His name is Keith Carradine and he also played Wild Bill Hickok in Deadwood.

Season 1 is one of the best seasons of any television show. Martin Freeman and Billy Bob are amazing.

Damn i never noticed the guy who plays Lou also played Lundy. Kind of forgot what Lundy looked like it’s been so long. Good eye. Also heads up, this show is an anthology series, every season is a different story with different characters and they’re very loosely tied together.
