also not sure if you got it but the sausage in the egg scramble that hannibal gave Will was the lungs from the girl.
On a related theme, I believe Americans eat with one implement in hand. Did Hannibal’s use of knife and fork simultaneously have a (subtle?) impact on you? Or am I over thinking this?
Few other shows can match the aesthetics of Hannibal.
There’s probably more clunky dialogue and exposition in this episode than the rest of the three seasons. And it’s still a great episode. The cut to Hannibal eating at Will’s mention of cannibalism is simply perfect.

The episode's title, Apéritif, refers to an alcoholic drink that is normally served before a meal to stimulate the appetite. "This is trippy" and "what the fuck am I watching?" Hannibal in a nutshell. A tasty, well prepared, horrifyingly beautiful nutshell.
