Slimegirl Test 2
🕑 Added 2020-05-07 21:50:56 +0000 UTCSecond test involving slimegirl coming up from the floor. This makes it easier to simulate, since... well, gravity goes down, and I don't have to reverse the video. I also changed the lighting to be more like the scene I have in mind, which obscures some of the deficiencies.
This technique has a "slime" cloth on the ground that the slimegirl rises up through, which is why it kind of looks like a sheet. Once she's fully out of the floor, I make a copy of the first cloth and cut a hole in it for her head. Then I run that cloth in a 2nd sim where it doesn't collide with the floor, so it just falls off of her and out of the scene completely.
I included a version with a closeup for the 2nd part, which I think looks slightly better. It still seems weird to have a bunch of slime fall off her to reveal her woman form, when it should just melt into her skin.
I could skip the 2nd sim with a camera cut, to go from "slimegirl under a sheet" to "just slimegirl"; that might end up looking better. Or maybe I can use another "reversed video" trick to make the slime sheet suck in to her features.
Overall, I think this turned out better than the last one, but I still think the slime coming down from the ceiling is creepier. I might do a third one that uses this technique but comes down from the ceiling instead, though I'm not entirely sure how that would work.
I could invert the scene again, basically having her coming "up" from the ceiling feet first until she touches the ground. I could even have another invisible object in there to pull the cloth out of the scene completely after she touches down.
Alternately, I could try to find some way to keep the cloth on the ceiling until the slimegirl hits it, but all the times I've tried that in the past didn't work so well.

well it will probably be awhile, I just wanted to mess around with the tech

I’m looking forward to this one

well she's supposed to be forming out of slime, so one would think she would form up in full busty shape. But maybe that will work

Yup, that's what I'm going to try next with a reversed video of a sim.

This looks good, and I agree with "ram" above. The sheet just dropping into nothingness makes me curious about the mass of it. Maybe have it suck into her, and add some curves to her.

Gonna take a good bit of trial and error for sure.
You should try to make the slime sheet suck into her. No matter what, I love the slime girl idea.
