Act 2 Finale UPDATE
🕑 Added 2025-04-11 17:40:26 +0000 UTCAs you probably know by now, the development time for each Midwest Angelica episode can fluctuate widely depending on what takes priority in life at any given moment. And as you have seen, production for the finale of Act 2 has been severely delayed. But don't worry, the episode is still expected to release by June at the very least. There are extra pieces to this puzzle that need to be orchestrated, and we need time to schedule them and execute on our vision.
As you probably also know, audiences only find out about Midwest Angelica through coverage from larger YouTube channels. The YouTube algorithm does little to attract attention, and even if it did, the serial nature of the project prevents new viewers from easily being able to jump into the series. As a result, support for the project is often inconsistent and not commensurate with the scale we hope to achieve, which leads to delays. After all, this is a hobby project, and we aren't anticipating the Midwest Angelica IP to become profitable on its own anytime soon. We apologize for these delays, but that's just the nature of making a project like this.
However, we do want to give you all one more major update. After taking into consideration feedback from Interlude A and Act 2 of the series, we have decided to condense Act 3 and Interlude B into a 40 minute - 1 hour long movie. We agree that the plot has become somewhat indigestible in Act 2, and we want to hopefully make the finale as clear and concise as possible. This movie should be finished around December, with trailers and a bonus episode leading up to it.
The grand finale is just around the corner...

I think we just all appreciate the update and how amazing this project has been. It is, without a doubt, one of the best shows I’ve experienced in the past 10 years. Keep up the amazing work!
