That's not the issue. The issue is whether Russ told FBI guy with the INTENT of having FBI guy save Marty... Which he obviously did not.

Don't deny us Cash's theories Jimmy, or your anger about them. Russ probably didn't tell Petty, gay FBI agent that Ruth was trying to kill Marty. However he is sharp enough to put it together and unwire the dock.
