Ohhh damn you are right, Tom prob is helping Shiv 🥺 —> Roman being self aware — insecure yes, but objective — by putting forward the right choice (yes he happens to be sweet on her BUT) is maybe the most decent Roy move yet 😍 I just can’t get excited about this. Logan is like football coach Nick Saban. He always finds a way. I’ve felt the pain for YEARS. He’ll out-think you and bleed you out. That line about “OJ” — “who says I’ve never killed anyone” — can’t be an accident. He’ll ruin Ken with that 😳😳😳😳 ohhh this show

interesting. I hadn’t considered that. I viewed it as he kinda wanted it but wasn’t confident and was hedging, and Logan then knew he wasn’t ready

That's how I interpreted it as well. By saying he wants it and he's ready he basically means the opposite. If someone repeatedly says "I want it, but it's okay if it's someone else" he doesn't want it, but has to be nice about it.

I interpreted Roman’s call with his dad as him implying he doesn’t want it right now, but that he knows he still needs to sound like he’s all in for the sake of securing his position within the company/family. I think his dad saw right through Roman’s act, and that’s why he said “Roman’s out” right after the call ended.
