Crazy that this was Ed Norton's very FIRST acting role. Did you know? Incredible debut. One of the best ever. Should've won the oscar imo. He was nominated but lost to Cuba Gooding Jr for Jerry Maguire...also great but I prefer Norton.

That's why i love this twist so much. It completely changes one's feelings about the whole movie right at the end with no time for any karmic resolution. Just leaves you feeling like Marty. Completely empty and shaken because the audience got played along with the lead. Love it.
