Just When I Thought I Was Out...
A perfect time jump that you buy immediately. My thoughts on the two shows has always been Breaking Bad is The Godfather and Saul is The Godfather Part 2. Breaking Bad is more contained, while there are side characters they all service the story of Walt's arch from chemistry teacher to kingpin, much like Michael's journey from the schoolboy to, well, godfather. BCS, like Part 2, is a technical/visual step up, and while arguably "slower," a bit more fascinating in the direction of the characters. Not a straight line like in Part 1, people are more complicated and tougher to read, leading to devastating consequences.

Amazing. Top 3 of the series? Probably. And I can't come close to thinking of a show that's had better cinematography than this one. One thing I hope we get more of is Kim's backstory. Seriously, I'd be fine with a whole episode of just that. And wtf was Kellerman doing in this? lol so random, right after Colvin in Barry.
