Yea she started doing the affair and was in this less and less. The end of her story on here is some bullshit too. Next season she’s on a lot more if I remember correctly

I think the writers underestimated how big the character Alice would be. Plus Wilson started doing another show (The Affair) around same time. Or maybe she didn't want to be typecast like Julia Stiles till Stiles broke out with the Jason Bourne movie.
