Jimmy's not old enough to remember how ruthless the Russians were and Arkady is not just scared for his job but for his life if he gets fired from his position. And it's not believable that Granny would tell somebody no matter how good the D was.

"She's enjoying herself." That scene in the kitchen between Philip and Sultry Elizabeth is so much fun I can hardly stand it :) But then her "Are you mad at me?", much later on, just breaks my heart. There are so many different levels to that entire sequence of events. Damn that's great writing!! Yeah, that's Lee Tergesen from Generation Kill. I really like him too. Of course, he'll always be Beecher to me, from Oz.
