May '24 Movie Poll
🕑 Added 2024-05-09 07:35:29 +0000 UTCThis is my "Make Everybody Happy but That's Impossible so Why Are You Trying" Poll (title pending). Essentially everyone who got at least a couple of people to agree with their selections got at least one of their picks chosen (there was crossover between patrons). Unfortunately , I ran out of options by the time I got to Jesse Walker & Barbie so I shall keep you in mind.

the way way back is incredible and i know he'd like it a bunch but it's so unknown i doubt it'll ever have a chance. hopefully jimmy, you can watch it sometime on your own. the others on this poll are fantastic too!

I don't like when people do that either. If you don't like a movie then don't vote for it. Don't tear people down who suggest movies that you dont like. Not every movie is for every one and that's OKAY.

Tbh Iโm pretty happy with myself. I wanted pirates to continue, and it will. Dune was my second choice. And I was giggling over Jenniferโs body somehow appearing on the pill again. Save your votes for where youโd like!

Yes, seconding that if it EVER wins a poll or gets made a Dealer's Choice, it has to be the Director's Cut. It's so much superior to the theatrical cut, it's like the difference between shooting a bullet and throwing it.

Great options in here but Sling Blade FTW. Too good of a performance by Billy Bob Thornton with his acting, directing, and that he wrote the film too.

I just wanna repeat for the sake of making sure Jimmy saw it that kingdom of heaven has to be the director's cut. The theatrical cut is missing crucial elements. The "roadshow edition" (it includes overture and intermission) on Amazon is the director's cut and the purest version of the movie.
