Yeah this was filmed at the same time as season 5 but released at the end of season 6. That being said, It doesn’t really mention any other jokes or situations that happen in other episodes, so honestly the episode can canonically take place in almost any season so far. Can’t wait for you to start season 6, has some of my fave episodes of all time.

yea it was shot same time with season 5. the 2nd santa is christopher lloyd ("doc" from back to the future and was also in one flew over the cuckoos nest with devito in one of his first roles)
