God I hated the actress for Sam she was so flat and then I watched her in another horror, and again, flat, and THEN I watched her in Your Monster and she was excellent! Complete turn around. For some reason directors want her to be a broody stoic lead, but silly suits her more (and she really can deliver a chilling line, she just can't be all distant and internal).
