Diana Preview
🕑 Added 2017-07-25 22:57:12 +0000 UTC Hey guys, here's the "initial" preview of Diana (aka Wonder Woman). I think there's way too much artwork out there of her in her "final form" so I wanted to give a fresh take on it, mixing the younger version, that is still in training, while keeping a couple of characteristics that are spot on, such as her blue eyes and wavy/curly hair.And to vary the posing a bit, wanted to make her just chilling after a day of training =)
PS. As much as I loved how she was portraited in the movie, and did use her clothing as reference, I didn't want to make her look like Gal Gadot, hence why it doesn't look like her =p

I had 2 ideas initially ... one that had her standing there in a more "epic" pose and this one .. I sketched both and in the end this one looked much more interesting to explore =)

yes, there will be a nsfw version =). I never draw them THAT young =p

yeah, while I do use real woman as reference for body types, poses etc, I avoid drawing an actual person. It leaves me little room to change the body, face, etc, since I would have to stay faithfull to the person =p

Just like Merrit above said, a bunch of Wonder Woman art uses a very similar pose. Which is the one I was expecting but I'm glad for this surprise and very excited to see the final product! :)

Oh, love the pose and idea behind this one, I always enjoy seeing characters posed relaxing during their down-time and mixing that with the younger Diana is a nice concept. You've given her a beautiful face I always find a little strand of hair falling near the eye to be endearing, the influence of the film on her clothing is a detail that I enjoy as well. In addition to her looking beautiful and cute, the centre of her rising thighs being visibleas her skirt falls around her gives it a sexy touch too, perhaps leaving one wondering whether it was intentional on Diana's part π Brilliant work thus far, I'm eager to see her with even more detail as well as the background π
