I have to say I really REALLY like to make those "elegant legs". I think it's shame that a lot of fanart out there actually crop out the legs and just focus on the torso. A nice pair of legs/hips (and butt) can be a perfect mix of elegant, sexy and feminine. It's actually the first time I'm doing legs crossed where the top legs is coming towards the camera. Usually I draw the top leg hanging sideways. Also I wanted to make her slightly playfull stretching the candy/gum from her mouth.

Oh that is very cute! I really like the low angle showing off her elegant legs, as well as the way the skirt drapes over them with the folds all hanging down. The hat is very nice too and I'm looking forward to seeing it and the folds when fully rendered. And the face is looking gorgeous so far, also with the poses, I do like how her head and body are pointing in opposite directions, giving her a twist as well as her sense of flow. Great work so far!
