Triss Merigold - Preview
🕑 Added 2021-01-22 18:43:18 +0000 UTCHey everyone, here's the initial preview of the lovely Triss Merigold!
Initially I was going to make her wearing the dress, but I loved the scene where Geralt gets into her room and she's checking herself in the mirror. So I rewinded to a few minutes earlier where she still didn't put the dress on (it's that "thing" on the left of her legs lol) =D
Basically, one angle was not enough for her, so this one required a front and back view!
Hope you guys like it!

thanks! I really like the idea of one admiring her own beauty. I think it's really great on images, when the characters are confident about themselves. So I thought it would be a fun scene to explore with Triss =D

thank you! I'm glad to hear!

to be honest, posing programs help a lot in this. When you pose the dummy and just let the program calculate the reflection, you get the mirrored basic structured. Then I only need to make sure the shading and anatomy makes sense. I did reflections manually in the past, and it's really not worth the time spent to do it manually.

thank you! =D

The fact that you draw reflections so well shows what a great artist you are.

Oooh-la-la! π»π»π»π»π» I simply love the idea behind this one, getting a sneaky peek at Triss during her preparations and in a moment of self-admiration. The pose itself looks so beautifully sensual with her chest pushed forward by the slight arch of her back and her hips rounded out with her thighs close together as she traces her fingers along her body. And I like the dynamic touches such as her arms being asymmetrical and her head turned in a different direction from her body, as well as the lower angle as we look up at her. Speaking of angles, getting two views of her is also utterly delightful, seeing her curves from behind, the side profile of her face and of course her lovely bum and the slight angle that it's turned in. I'm definitely excited to see the finished piece here with all of the details and textures of the room as well as the mirror. While Triss herself will no doubt be an exquisite sight, with the just the linework here, I love the shapes of her stomach and am especially eager to see that area fully painted. Beautiful work so far! ππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
