Doctor Alton Meezul used to be a highly respected surgeon in a major hospital. Some of his former colleagues could portray his exotic methods as borderline mysticism and this was also the reason why he was ousted from the hospital after a failed treatment he performed on his sick wife.
After being fired from the hospital and threated with a law suit, Dr. Meezul moved out of the city with his beloved, but terminally ill spouse. He bought an old manor where he continued the treatments feverishly looking for a treatment.
Nobody heard from Dr. Meezul or his wife until a year ago when he suddenly started contacting his old patients and inviting them to his newly found private hospital. Dr. Meezul's promises of extreme discretion and natural charm lured in many rich and famous patients from all over the continent and even from the other side of the Atlantic.
Patients spoke highly of Dr. Meezul's hospital and were evidently feeling better – until recently. One of the Dr. Meezul's patients, Lena Sloan, started suffering from unexplained amnesia and nightmares, and a week ago she was hospitalized after a terrible accident and now lies in coma. Her fiancé Oscar Sloan claims that this sudden collapse of Lena's well-being was caused by the treatments in Dr. Meezul's private hospital. Now, Lena's father Arthur Beck is looking for someone to investigate on Dr. Meezul's possible involvement in Lena's horrible fate.
