The Japanese Footbridge in Minneapolis is from the later end of the series of 12 and it looks ROUGH. And there's all this flowery language about how he chose to give up the minutiae and being more expressive to the mystery of nature using bold colors that don't correspond to reality, etc. But then you look at the painting and it's just a dude relying on muscle memory and him trying to remember what his water garden looks like because he couldn't see.

"Jack Frost isn't a real person!" - Arin *Lifelong Grumps fan named Jack Frost slowly starts disolving into nothingness whilst watching the episode* "Awwwwwww beans...." - The dust cloud formerly known as Jack Frost

Yeah even if they were just working on wet canvasses at a slightly larger scale, they'd probably be a bit closer to the original paintings.

should've had ben schwartz on for this one. now THAT'S a guy who knows how to go fast.

I want them to do this again but to be provided with the correct tools to do it well. Following a bob Ross tutorial with the cheaper basic brushes and canvases from a craft store makes it sooo much harder. Hilarious, but it would be interesting to see if they could make actual good paintings with the good high quality brushes and canvases that bob uses

I wonder why Arin needed an IV, hope heβs okay

I'd watch that movie.

Those last two are actually pretty impressive. Arin's, for all the huuuuge brush strokes and no time to get all anal about it, has a surprising sense of depth to it. And Dan's instantly reminds me of the green rolling hills from the movie, "Toys". Just need to do some foreground, and boom.

That's what I was thinking. Are we seeing actual progress here? ...or maybe it's just luck cause they're rushing

What if Bob Ross was actually a serial killer and the paintings are the locations of where he hid the bodies?π

I unironically like pretty much all their paintings this time, they're genuinely better than the ones they made in the first Rob Boss episode

Arinβs all look like a toddler going deeper into a tantrum in art class. Just SO MUCH PAINT.

I saw him make a face and was like "oh that's definitely got paint in it"
Sarahmonster
Dan's coffee definitely probably has paint in it.

oops when u press enter it posts the comment whoopsie anyways either way i think they both did a great job even with the super speed ones :) i love arins bold colors/impressionism and i love dans flowy blending.

squinting really hard i think arins problem was he had too much paint for the size brushes he was using. seemed to me like bob used very small amounts of paint for his big brushes.
