It’s interesting to see you use a new/unviewed medium like the the fill in medium. You mentioned using it because of the darkness of most of the painting, and I wondered since the face and the flowers were lighter was the payout of using the usual fill in medium just not worth the time it would have taken to use both?
Removing the old varnish never gets old, I could watch you do it for hours...oh wait, I have. It was good seeing some different takes on a couple of things, the tinted fill in medium and the stretcher, there's still so much for you to show us!
