I mentioned in a recent post that I was planning on putting together a Q&A video in the near future. I've already had one submission for a question but thought I'd post again in case there was anything anyone was interested in me talking about?
If so, post away below!
I've also been debating starting to make some "directors commentary"-style videos in which I go through my videos and expand on some points or explain some of the reasons behind certain choices I made in what to include or not include. It would be great to get a sense of whether this is something people would be interested in seeing or not or whether I should just get on with making the videos themselves!

☺️ this might be a bit vague but I was also wondering if you'd talk more about the Frankfurt School? Also Guy Debord especially with regards to his theory of the spectacle? Coming from a background that's oriented around performance and communication I think you'd have a really interesting perspective (my background is history and sociology, so a different angle). Also anything about Georges Bataille, I have no justification beyond the fact that I really like his work and I like yours too so hearing you talk about him would be great 😂 so I guess what I'm actually asking is whether you'd look at the work of interesting philosophers whose work speaks to performativity, communication etc? Like your explanation of Judith Butler was really excellent, that sort of thing. Hope that makes sense lol

Are these more for personal questions or theory questions? For personal questions I was wondering where your interest in performing arts comes from and how you sustain that interest throughout your studies to complete your postgrad?
