Q&A Submissions!

It's been a couple of months since I last did one so I thought I'd throw open submissions for another Q&A!
Drop them in a comment below and I'll put together a video after Christmas addressing as many of them as I can (I usually get around to them all...)!
Feel free to ask anything about topics I've covered in previous videos, topics I haven't covered, the process behind the videos etc, I'm a fairly open book...
As an extra update, I'm not going to be putting a video out in January and as a result will pause Patreon billing for the month. This will mean you won't be charged for January.
There's several reasons for taking the month off.
Partly, it's because I've needed to put aside a bit of time to check through my PhD thesis corrections before sending those off in the New Year to finally become a Dr!
Mostly, however, I was keen to make sure I could have a bit of time off over the holidays to spend with family and recuperate a little bit.
I've already been doing a load of reading for the next video and it's beginning to take shape in my head. As I often do, it pairs a very zeitgeist-y topic with something a little more unique and I think it's going to make for a really interesting discussion.
I hope that everyone's well and finds some time to enjoy the holiday period!

Hi Tom, I appreciate your videos for a myriad of reasons others have mostly expressed, so I just wanted to say thank you generally, the videos are thought provoking and spark my own tangents and interests. My question: I was curious on your thoughts on the relevancy of what I've heard called New Sincerity. I have somewhat of a tenuous grasp on it, but I failed to find substantial discussions about it anywhere. Looking more I also discovered metamodernism, to which it seems to be related if not the same thing. I'm curious of your thoughts, and if this even warrants a discussion or has enough depth to be substantially considered as a new (or new to me, I guess) type of theory, etc. Thanks again!

Hi Tom! I am really grateful for your videos, you do them with such a passion! I saw your talk with the guy from the "Second thaught" channel and I was wondering if u think that there is really a way out in capitalism? I would be really intrested in you discussing socialism and communsim, in the past and also your opinion to it now, since I have the feeling that it is coming up again in the mind of the young generation as a solution to the profit oriented capitalist economy. And actually I begin to think that there is a lots of negativ propaganda to it but I dont see how it could get worse than what the world is experiencing at the moment... I would really appreciate your thaughts on that matter.
