Daily Free-Write June 30, 2022: Moms Don't Know Fashion
🕑 Added 2022-07-01 02:52:27 +0000 UTCAuthor's Note: This is a very silly and random free-write. Don't take it too seriously, well, unless you're thinking of being a naughty boy or girl. Then take it VERY seriously because you could be next! >:3
"Oooh, look! I think this'll look cute on you, sweetie!"
"Moooom! Those clothes are for babies! I told you! I'm not a kid anymore!"
"They fit you though, don't they?"
Don's mom had a point, but he didn't have to agree with the result. Don was quite small for his age - much too small to fit in the clothes his classmates wore - and he absolutely hated going to the junior's section at Bullseye with his mom. This is where she always took him when she bought him new clothes - and she always picked the worst choices imaginable. Battlemon. Ricky Rat. Awesome Man.
"These are clothes that will get me made fun of, Mom. Don't you understand that?"
"And why would anyone make fun of you when you're wearing a Mousechu shirt? He's the cutest electric mouse ever. Can you squeak like Mousechu? Who's my little squeaker? Who's my little..."
"Oh my gosh, Mommm, you're embarrassing me." Don hid his face as his mom carried on, hoping no one from school would spot them there. "You know what, just... put it in the cart." Don grabbed the hanger from her hand and tossed it with the shirt into the cart. It was the only way to get her to stop, he knew from experience.
"See? I knew you still liked Mousechu. You can't fool your mother. Ooh, look! It's a Dragon Stories backpack! Aww, it lights up and plays the theme song! Look!"
"Oh gods, no!" said Don as they left the clothing section and wandered into the school gear section. He had been looking forward to getting out of the Junior's section but now he was hoping to pull her back there before he ended up with something even worse than clothes.
"Dragon Stories, Dragon Stories, it's almost time for Dragon Stories..."
"Come on, sweetie! Sing along to the song!"
"Please mom... please!"
"I'm not stopping til you sing. I know you know it, you just watched it this morning!"
"It's because you won't let me watch anything cool on TV," Don muttered to himself before rolling his eyes, clapping and dancing along to make his mom happy. Satisfied, she threw the bag in the cart.
"You're punishing me for trying to go to that party last year, aren't you?"
Don's mom cocked an eyebrow and looked at him. "It's better you be a little boy than a troubled adult, don't you think?"
"It was one party!"
"And there was alcohol. And who knows what else."
"Did you have to call the sheriff to pick me up? That was the worst..."
"He's mommy's special friend. He said he'll make sure you stay out of trouble."
"He gave my classmates high fives as he left! That's not fair!"
"Okay. If it ever happens again, I'll call your babysitter instead."
Don was ready to tear out his hair. He was eighteen and supposed to be doing adult things but mom just didn't seem to get it.
"Well, you're just not meant for that sort of thing, honey, so we fixed it. No late nights or unsupervised outings for you, little mister.
His mom had thrown a My Pretty Unicorn themed trapper keeper into the cart and some matching pencils, but now they were moving away from the school section, even as they continued with their back and forth. This was a conversation they had had many times, and it was not going any better this time.
"I'll be good, Mom. Come on. Stop dressing me like a kid..."
"Oh look! It's your favorite night pants from when you were ten. You were so sweet when you were that age."
Mom grabbed a box of muppet avenue pull-ups and hefted them into the cart. Just then, Don spotted one of the kids from his math class walking past the aisle.
"Mom, no! Put it back put it-" Don tried to hide his face but it was too late. He had been spotted.
"Haha, you wear pull-ups, man?"
"Donnie loves his muppet avenue."
"Hey Zeke, what's the hold up - oh, it's- Is that pull-ups in his cart?"
Things were only getting worse as another classmate joined in on the laughter. That's when something strange happened. It was like a flicker rippled through the store, and suddenly something felt different. Time had stopped. Don looked around. What...?
A voice echoed from some direction Don couldn't identify.
"Naughty boys... naughty boys... naughty boys..."
"What? Who's there? What's happening?"
"Naughty boys shouldn't be allowed to grow up." A man in a purple velveteen suit with a cane and purple top hat stepped out from behind one of Don's classmates, and patted the guy on the butt. Suddenly, his pants puffed out, and the clear outline of a diaper could be seen. He tapped Zeke's mouth and a pacifier appeared, a big bright one with blue and yellow and red, followed by an even thicker diaper when Zeke got a double tap from the man - back and front.
"Ha! Serves them right!" said Don, liking what he was seeing.
"Oh, I'm not done yet," said the man, smiling and tipping his hat.
Next, the man tapped mom's chest and her chest plumped up, heavy with milk.
"What?! Why are you..." The man tapped Don's shirt and pants and suddenly his shirt and pants connected into a short sleeved onesie with smiling baby versions of Ricky Rat on the front and his friend, Doofy on the front, both obviously diapered.
"Hey, man! Get away!" said Don, jumping back and running. "No way you're going to use your baby touch on me!"
Don was small in stature and the man was tall, so of course it only took a few strides for the man to catch Don and play pitter patter on his butt. The diaper that appeared on Don's butt was so big that it was hard for him to even fit in the aisle. It was at least seven diapers thick.
"Theeere we go! The biggest diaper for the biggest baby!"
"Why?!" asked Don, falling on his butt and whining as he looked down in dismay at his big puffy midsection.
The man smiled a big toothy smile. "Because naughty boys shouldn't be allowed to grow up!"
Max tried to take off his diapers, but the man waggled a finger.
"Ah, ah, ah! You don't want to be nakies in the store, do you? You could get in a LOT of trouble.."
Don stopped. It was true. He didn't want to be in a giant diaper in the middle of the store, but he had nothing to replace it with.
"Who are you?" asked Don, exasperated.
"I'm a wizard! And you're a pottypants baby!"
Don gasped as he felt a trickle of pee escape into his incredibly thick diaper. No. This couldn't be happening!
"And now you're a good boy!"
The man tipped his hat and stepped behind the shelves, leaving Don there, perplexed. He turned to look at his mom and the two classmates, and they had continued talking as if nothing had happened - well, Zeke wasn't talking, he was sucking his pacifier.
"They have muppet avenue diapers the next aisle over. I bet Donnie would love those," snickered his classmate, "Right Zeke?"
Zeke nodded and gave a thumbs up, sucking his paci happily.
"No," said Don, waddling towards them. He was reminded just how thick the diapers were with his awkward attempt at running. He basically had to hop from leg to leg since they couldn't close at all.
"Oh, sweetie," said Mommy. "You really shouldn't be running in the store. I can see we need to get you that stroller after all..."
Donnie started to cry as he felt himself trickle more into his diaper. He wasn't a baby! He was a big boy! He was a big boy! He fell to his butt and sucked his thumb to feel better.
"Would you boys watch my baby for a minute while I grab those diapers?"
"Sure thing, ma'am!" said the guy.
Don was so embarrassed being watched by his classmates. He was older than them, too, but that didn't seem to matter because his mom - and that strange man - had decided he was a baby. Them and everyone else. The sheriff. His babysitter. His classmates. The daycare workers.
Despite his embarrassment, he found himself laughing uncontrollably - that was because his classmates knew how to cheer up a cranky baby - by tickling him! He was tickled and teased til he laughed and peed, then when his mom came back they pointed to him and said, "Donnie's mom! Donnie's mom! Donnie peed his diapees!"
"Oh, my! Yes he did," she said, smiling and shaking her head. Just to be sure, she stuck two fingers in his leg hole, making Donnie yelp and blush. The diaper crinkled as her fingers tickled the spot of skin where the back of his thigh and his diaper met.
"Noooo," Donnie said, sniffling. "I can check my own pants..."
"Aww! Little man is cranky! Is it time for his lunch?" Don's jaw dropped as his mom began to pull up her shirt. He tried to back away but the grabbed his arm and brought him in. He looked over at his classmates, panicked, and knew he was in for a bad time. They both had their phones up, recording. This was bad. This was very bad.
The trip to the store was going to be a back to school trip, but it had turned into a back to the nursery trip instead. Poor Donny was never going to be allowed to grow up now. But at least he wasn't alone - whatever the man had done, it looked like diapers were suddenly a lot more popular around town. But nobody had a diaper as big as Donnie's!
