Daily Freewrite July 7, 2022: Computer Science 101
🕑 Added 2022-07-08 07:40:59 +0000 UTCThe college was offering a new VR computer science 101 course where you could go inside a computer to learn about the workings of computers.
"This is ALL new technology," touted the course catalog. "All equipment provided courtesy of C.A.B.S. Fresh Start, No experience needed!"
That sounded good enough for Jerry, and 31 others like him. When they came in on the first day of class, it was the first time many of them had held a V.R. headset. Sure, some of them had seen the cute youtube videos that the furries put out, where people could be anything they wanted in VR anywhere they wanted, but what that looked like from the user end, they hadn't a clue.
"Alright, everyone," said the Professor, walking in in a crisp lab coat more befitting a chemistry teacher than a computer science teacher. "Let's go down the list... I'm going to call down the list and if you're present, I'll ask you to sign the release form. If you're not present, you're out of this class, sorry, and if you wish to add, well, now is the time!"
Jerry raised his hand.
"Uh... what's the release form for?"
The professor scratched his nose.
"Oh, you know, the usual. VR headset is university property, you will not take it out of the computer science department. You agree to photography and non identifying personal data for university study and promotional purposes. You are not prone to seizures due to flashing lights and colors. You agree to the standard C.A.B.S. Fresh Start policies and procedures outlined in the university policy handbook, etc. etc."
"Policies and procedures?" asked Jerry, scratching his head. He hadn't heard of those before."
The professor harrumphed and tapped his clipboard, clearly growing impatient.
"They're all available to read on the website. You can look at them after class, but if you want to read them first, you should have done it before class. I don't have time to go over everything now."
"Alright alright," said Jerry, backing off. "Just wondering."
Having signed their forms, the students all put on their vr headsets from the comfort of their soft padded seats.
"Are these straps really necessary?" asked Jerry.
"All part of the process," said the professor. "Wouldn't want you falling out of the chair by accident, now would we?"
"I guess not..." Jerry watched as his arms and legs were cinched down tight. There was no way he was getting out of the comfy padded chair on his own and he wondered if this was a fire hazard.
With their headsets on, the students instantly found themselves in a matrix-like version of their classroom with electricity and digits flowing everywhere. The teacher was standing there next to a large computer tower, waiting.
"So good of you all to join me here in the digital world. Throughout this course, we'll teach you all about computers, and not just the personal microcomputers you use at home," he said, patting the large tower beside him. "There are many kinds of systems, including those that process your everyday cash transactions. We're talking servers, mainframes, even supercomputers which all have their own unique abilities and functions. And- JERRY! Are you listening?"
"Huh?" asked Jerry, who had been so distracted by all of the zooming ones and zeroes and the ever changing details that he saw when he stared hard at any one place to pay attention to the professor's speech.
"Head in the game, Jerry. You don't want your mind running away from you, now."
"Sorry," said Jerry, simply. The professor gave him a long look before continuing.
"As I was saying..." The students all gasped as the scene around them zoomed into the computer through a vent, narrowly missing the blades of the fan which caused several of them to duck, or attempt to before their restraints prevented it. Inside, they came to rest on a phosphorescent motherboard. Everyone made sounds of awe and amazement as they saw, for the first time, the systems of the computer in action.
The professor cleared his throat. "This is the computer. We will progress- Jerry! What are you making those noises for?"
"I have to use the bathroom," said Jerry.
"Well, please hold it," said the professor, clearly annoyed. "I can't stop class every time someone needs to use the bathroom."
The rest of the class chuckled, and Jerry went quiet, embarrassed. The professor continued.
“This is the computer. We will progress through each system in detail. Looking at the components of our computers and how they interact, the history of how they were developed, and the many types of computer in use today. You can pull up your virtual terminal using your haptic- Jerry! pay attention!” Jerry had been staring closely at the moving rays of light going through the chipboard circuits, ostensibly to distract himself from the need to pee, but really just because of his childlike fascination with all things shiny.
“Whoa dude! This is crazy!” he said, distracted by all the lights around him, the moving particles of data, where he could catch glimpses of images and words, and was that faint music he heard? He could almost make out what it was saying... "Very good. Just listen and follow along... before you know it..."
"Jerry!" came the professor's voice, cutting through the noise.
"Huh? Oh.. uh... sorry professor."
The professor took off his virtual spectacles and rubbed the bridge of his virtual nose. "You really shouldn't get too distracted. This is new technology, and no telling what will happen if you let your mind run away with you. Just... try to focus, will you?"
"Y-yeah, sure," said Jerry. It was just so hard to focus as the professor talked about computers. But by and by, as he settled into the experience, he barely even noticed the words that were entering his mind and laying in subtle suggestions. He gradually lost awareness of his body, and the room around him. The physical sensation of needing to pee even went away, replaced eventually by a comfortable warmth between his legs. He settled into a nice relaxing semi-sleep as the professor droned on, and it felt as if he was being laid out on a nice comfortable padded surface. Somewhere where he could sleep nicely.
"And that concludes today's lesson," said the professor. "Uh... hello? Is anyone still with me?" The class was all asleep. "Huh, looks like I did my job a little too well..."
Jerry came to as his headset was removed. He blinked away the blurriness to find that he was laying on a vinyl padded table... a... changing table? A friendly young lady stood over him.
"Ah, welcome back, little guy. Looks like you had an accident in class."
She patted the front of his wet diaper, which had swollen up so big it forced Jerry's legs wide apart, pressing into his crotch and butt. Jerry blushed, but when he attempted to cover himself he found he was unable to. Ankles, wrists, and thighs were well secured to prevent falling. All he could do was shift slightly and crinkle. The girl smiled brightly.
"Don't worry, bud. Lots of little ones have accidents. That's why you wear your diapers!"
"But I don't wear-"
"Of course, you do, silly! You obviously have this one on and you wet it pretty good. Are you telling me you didn't know you wet your diaper?"
"Yes!" said Jerry.
"Well, then you must need your diapers if you don't know when you wet them."
"N-no! I know when I go pee," said Jerry with confidence.
"Oh? So you did it on purpose? Well, then clearly you need them for a whole different reason. Can't have you peeing your pants in class, now can we?"
"N-no! That's not what I meant... H-how did I get in a diaper anyway?"
"So many questions," said the lady. "Why don't we start with my name. Hi. I'm Beth. Welcome to Fresh Start. We're so glad you signed up for our program!"
"Program?" asked Jerry with a sinking feeling in his stomach.
"That's right. All your things are being moved out of your dorm to our Center for Adult Baby Studies. We hope you enjoy our new first steps computer science program. You'll be a regular baby einstein by the time you're done with lessons!"
Jerry was stunned. He hadn't signed up for this, had he? But his questions took a back seat to his embarrassment and shock as his diaper was removed then and there by the lady in front of him - probably a student herself from the looks of her.
"Don't worry, lil guy, we'll get you in a fresh one in no time. And if you can really keep dry like you say, then you'll have no time asking for the potty during free-time."

Heck, I would join!

VR sounds fun! I’d love to try it, maybe I should see if CABS does remote learning…
None ya
I wonder if Jerry will get a fun daddy like tank or an ass
