Daily Free-Write January 24, 2022: Coffee, Please
🕑 Added 2023-01-25 08:04:21 +0000 UTC"Coffee! I need coffee!" The small man walked into the CometBucks like a zombie, his eyes drooping behind his glasses like he could barely stay awake.
"One coffee! Coming right up!" said the man behind the counter, a cheery young lad with a Barista's smock and visor and rolled up sleeves. He saw this kind of thing all the time, and he was just the hero this person needed. "Name, please?"
"Rodney Rickerson," said the man, practically passing out mid-sentence.
"Whoah, there, sleepy, don't tip over! Just tip!"
"Huh? Oh... right." The man dipped into his walled and pulled out a couple of wadded ones to drop into the jar of tip. "And make it extra strong please."
"Are you sure?" asked the barista, cocking an eyebrow. "If you get it too strong, there can be some... extreme effects..."
"Make it a double nitrogen superebrew, extra gigante." said the sleepy man, pounding on the counter.
"Sir, we aren't allowed to make our nitrogens that big-"
The man dug deeper and found another five to put in the tip jar. "Just make it happen."
The barista just shrugged, his smile never faltering as he started the coffe process. In mere minutes, a gigante cup of dangerously strong coffee was being pushed into the man's hands.
"You might want to drink slow-" before the barista could even finish his sentence, the man had gulped down the entire thing. "-ly," finished the man in awe. "Okay, well, you might need to use the restroom after drinking that much. Here, take the key..."
"No time," said the man, puffing his chest out now that he had some energy in him. I've got things to do and places to-" The man froze as he felt his pants grow heavy and damp. The barista stifled his laughter at the predictable consequences of too much coffee. The man shrieked, then covered his mouth.
"What did you do to me?!"
"Nothing. You did it to yourself, Rodney. I warned you something serious would happen if you drnak too much coffee, and now I hope you'll believe me. Now about that potty break..."
Rodney fully expected the key to the restroom, but was severely shocked and disappointed when he saw the man reach for another key.
"What is this?" asked Rodney, when he saw the barista holding up a different key, only it was bright red and plastic, and on a plastic key ring with other plastic keys.
"Well, if that was your reaction now, you're going to need more than a potty break. Come with me." Completely bewildered, Rodney followed the barista to the side of the dining area and counter, and to a set of doors. One was to the bathrooms, and one was to the family changing rooms. He pressed the key to the change door, and a beep rang out. He then beckoned Rodney in and Rodney gasped as he saw stacks and stacks of diapers just waiting for someone his size to wear them.
"All ready for your diaper?"
"No way! This is too weird from me. I'm out."
"Hold on," said the barista, grabbing Rodney by the arm as he turned to leave. "No way you're going to be dripping any more puddles in my store by going back out there in wet pants and doing it all over again. Now you're going into a diaper, and if you want to take it off when you get home, that's your business.
Gradually, reluctantly, Rodney agreed that going out as he was would be a problem. Luckily for him, there just happened to be some shorts on hand in the changing room. Unlucky for him, they would do nothing to hide his diaper.
"Lay back. Go on, then. I have lots of coffee to make for customers, so let's make this as quick as possible!"
Rodney did as he was told, feeling silly for doing so. He blushed and yelped as his pants were tugged off ot him with masterful efficiency. Next came his undies, though he feebly tried to hold onto them. They may have been very soggy, but they were his last shred of dignity. Rodney was kind though and patted him on the back saying, "There, there. It's okay. Accidents happen, and we're going to get you in fresh new undies and you'll feel right as rain. You'll see!"
The comfort was surprisingly helpful, though it didn't make the sensation of having his legs lifted and his butt deposited onto a cushy soft diaper any less strange.
"Do you have to do the baby powder?"
"Of course I do," said the barista, smiling cheekily.
"But why?"
"It's important, trust me."
Rodney squirmed as the baby powder was rubbed into his private regions. It was almost a relief when the barista finally finished and began to pull up the diaper between his legs. He definitely noticed how his legs had to spread wide to accommodate the new bulk between them. The smooth feel of the diaper against his skin... and the crinkling sound. Of course there was the thickness to contend with, too. As the barista finished taping the last tape and stepped back to admire his handiwork, Rodney got up and experimented with his gait. Sure enough, he walked around about as gracefully as a baby deer. The barista couldn't help but giggle.
"Oh, don't worry. It'll get easier over time. Just come on out and you'll forget all about it.
"Out?! In this? No way!"
"Oh, that's right. You'll need some pants to go with, huh? Okay, fine. Try these shorts."
The man handed Rodney a pair of stretchy shorts, which seemed casual enough - at least until they were on. Then Rodney could clearly see the outline of a diaper stretching the fabric.
"It's not obvious," lied the barista, answering Rodney's unasked question. Rodney nodded, doubtfully, but still had to be shoved out of the changing room by the barista before he would leave. As soon as the door was shut, he felt the urgent need to go again, but Rodney shook his head and said it was time to make more coffee.
"I'll tell you what, though. I'll make you an extra one for being such a good sport."
Rodney definitely wasn't asleep now. Still, it was hard to pass up free coffee. He winced as he wet himself some more, and pointed to the mocha. "That ought to be safer, cause it's not just coffee, right?"
The barista chuckled and began to make Rodney another cup of delicious coffee.
