Daily Free-Write November 11, 2022: Mochabear: After the Interview
🕑 Added 2022-11-12 04:05:57 +0000 UTC"I'm home from my job interview!" said Mocha the bear, looking around the living room and blinking. There was his big plush teddy Butterscotch waiting for him. Mocha smiled and rushed over to snuggle his plush friend. He could already feel his little feels bubbling up as he went baby-brained almost instantly.
"Oof! Welcome back!" said Butterscotch in his buttery soft voice, returning the hug as Mocha snuggled harder into him. "And what's got my little guy so cuddly today?"
"I dunno," said Mocha. "Feelin' smol."
Butterscotch grinned at the adorable innocent bear who might appear big to some, but never to him.
"Guess it's just a cozy littlespace kind of day," said Butterscotch, who was more than happy to let Mocha cuddle him on the couch as long as he wanted. That's what Butterscotch was for, after all. To be a good plushie caretaker for Mocha.
"I send you out for a job interview and this is how you come back, huh?"
"Uh huh," said Mocha, not even bothering to open his eyes.
"I should send you on more job interviews," chuckled Butterscotch, giving his little guy a squeeze back. Mocha just nodded, not even bothering to mumble out a reply. Mocha was completely baby-brained at this point.
Butterscotch smiled down at Mocha gently, picked up his favorite pacifier, which was luckily already clipped to his onesie, and popped it in the little bear's mouth. He patted the lucky bear's crinkly tush and the bear returned a contented sigh. "Heh. It's a good thing I sent you off padded, little one."
And so, Mocha spent the next three hours curled up on the couch snuggling butterscotch, sucking on his paci, and feeling small. He might have fallen asleep somewhere in there, but it was hard to tell. Mocha was 'No Thoughts Head Empty' mode, so that even he wouldn't have known for sure. And butterscotch was more than content to watch him like that. Magical teddy bears didn't need to sleep, after all. They could stay awake all night to guard their little ones against nightmares and wet beds.
But all good things come to an end sooner or later, and after a while, Mocha stretched and yawned, smacked his lips, letting the paci fall out and dangle on its tether. Butterscotch got up.
"Well, welcome back to the big wide world, little one! Why don't I make you some maple milk?"
"Hey Butterscotch?" he asked, showing his big bear teeth as he stretched and yawned once more.
"Yes, little one?" asked Butterscotch, who was already screwing on the top to the bottle and sticking it in the microwave.
"Isn't it weird that all the job interviews are in VR these days?"
"Oh, I don't know," said Butterscotch, the hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Things are so high tech nowadays, and anyway, working from home is going to be more and more common. It makes sense to me."
"Yeah, I guess, so," said Mocha, scratching his tummy. "I just thought-"
"Now, who told you to think, silly billy?" asked Mocha, pulling out the bottle and testing the temperature. "I think you just need to fill that baby tummy of yours instead."
"Thanks, Butterscotch. For the maple milk and for finding me all these job interviemppphhh."
"Shhh, little one," said Butterscotch, shoving the bottle in the big baby bear's mouth. "Drink."
Mocha squirmed for only a moment, but quickly settled down as the warm milk hit his tongue. He quickly relaxed into a rhythm of nursing as he lay his head back into Mocha's plush lap.
"Therrre we go," said the big magical teddy, petting the bear's head as he nursed. "All those big bear thoughts can just go away.... Pretending to be big is soooo exhausting. You just wanna be a cuddlebug cub, don't you?"
Mocha sighed and nodded as he nursed. It did feel good to go baby brained. He couldn't even remember how long he had been doing this with Butterscotch, but he knew it felt good. Hadn't he once been a big bear? Hadn't he once thought he would grow up to do big bear things? It was hard to remember. Harder and harder to remember as he went baby-brained.
The bottle was quite large, and it took another twenty minutes or so for the big bear to finish it. By the time he was finished, his diaper was already swelling up again.
Mocha sat up as Butterscotch went to wash the bottle, smacking his lips.
"That was pretty tasty. Gosh, how long have I been babbing out today? I should probably do something else before it gets too late..." He picked up his phone. There were a lot of missed calls and messages that he had yet to check.
"Change time!" declared Butterscotch, hurrying back. "Go on and put that phone down, you can play with it later. I have to get you out of that soggy diaper before you leak!"
"Sorry," said Mocha, putting down his phone as he began to feel little once again.
"No worries, little one. You just lie back and let ol' butterscotch take care of everything!"
Butterscotch grabbed a diaper from the pile by the couch and changed Mocha then and there. Mocha was used to it by now, and didn't even think twice. He always wore diapers. And he always got changed by his cuddly companion. That was how it had always been, right?
"Always in such a hurry.... You don't have anywhere to be, little guy. Just let ol' Butterscotch finish changing you and then... Ah, there we go!" said Butterscotch, taping up the fresh diaper with another one of his lightning fast changes. Sometimes he slowed down and took his time, which they both found enjoyable, but not this time. This time, Butterscotch had something else on his mind.
"You know... I just remembered. It's about time for your next 'interview', said Butterscotch, looking down at his big baby bear.
"Already?"
"You're the one that was talking about getting stuff done, weren't you? Well, a job interview is getting stuff done. Right?"
"Yeah," said Mocha, rubbing his arm. "I guess so..."
"That's the spirit! Okay kiddo, get comfortable. Here comes the VR headset!"
"Thanks, Butterscotch! You're the behheehhhhhheheeeeee...." The big bear's sentence dropped away as he went limp, and began to drool while the headset flashed many pretty colors which could be seen glowing where the edges of the headset met his fur. Butterscotch quickly placed the pacifier in the bear's mouth, and Mocha began to rhythmically suckle.
"That's a good little bear," said Butterscotch, kissing the bear's head. "This will help you become a more cuddly little, hehehe."
Butterscotch giggled as he held his little one. Slowly but surely, he would be trained out of that big boy mindset he had developed and back into being baby-brained full-time. Then, he could send him to VR daycare instead. Being a magical caretaker was so great. He coudn't wait to finish turning his perfect boy into a full time baby.

Hehe, right? If only....
Baby training disguised as a boring adult activities cute
Taking lots of time to wipe every little bit, talking softly, making the little one feel extra good and tiny too as they take a nice long time to oil very thoroughly, then rub in the powder, cooing soft and relaxing words of comfort before taping up a nice soft thick cozy comfy diaper. 🥰
