"Daddy, no! Everyone will see!" Brin panicked as his Daddy laid him down on the grass and stuck his fingers up the young man's shorts just to be sure while Brin squirmed.
"Come on, now. Don't make a fuss. No one will notice."
Brin looked around them in a panic. They were in the middle of the Hippy Dippy Music Explosion or HDME 2023, during a set break and Brin was certain that people would notice.
"Look," said Daddy, pointing over to a mostly naked man who was dancing and rapidly shedding his bathrobe. "That guys dancing naked. Nobody cares."
"But, Daddy, I-" Brin's words were cut off with his oversize pacifier being pushed into his mouth and his Daddy holding it there with a finger.
"Shhhh, cute one. The quicker you settle down and let Daddy do his job, the quicker this will all be over."
And so, with only a few curious onlookers paying attention, Brin lay there on the Grateful Deceased blanket Daddy had brought while Daddy pulled down Brin's shorts, pulled down his organic plastic pants, unpinned his all hemp cloth diapers, wiped him down with a washcloth and began pinning him into another set of eco-friendly diapers.
"This one goes out to the Baby Man in the audience! Rock on, dude! And Stay dry!"
"What?!" asked Brin, sitting up and spitting out his pacifier. To his horror, he realized that the next band was ready to go and the lead singer/guitarist was addressing him specifically. All eyes were on him as a chuckle went through the crowd along with some applause, whoops, and hollers before the musicians launched into their first song, 'Baby Man'. "Oh gods," he said, covering his face and laying back down on the blanket. Brin wished he could be swallowed up by the ground, but no such luck.
"See?" said Daddy. "It's totally chill. Now sit up. Come on." Daddy reached out to grab Brin's hand and helped his boy sit up. Then, he started putting the used diaper into the little diaper bucket he brought. When he threw Brin's shorts in there with the diaper, Brin was shocked.
"Hey! Give those back!"
"No can do, buddy. They're covered in pee pee now. Just relax and enjoy running around in your cute diapee now. You love to run around like that at home!"
"Yeah, but that's at home! In private."
"You're going to be living like this for a long time so you'd better get used to it," was all Daddy said. Brin blushed. Daddy was right. He didn't have much choice about it now. Still, it wasn't easy to get used to.
