*Report to the Resource & Rehabilitation Center Immediately*
It was an R&R message. He looked up and around to his coworkers at the News Center and squinted. Who had done it? Who had reported him?
"Hey, Jacko, you with us, buddy? You're on in one minute," said the Newsroom manager. Jack began to sweat. He needed to get out of there immediately, or else...
"Hold on a second, I just have to step out for a quick-"
"Annnnd, you're on!"
Jack looked into the camera like a deer caught in headlights. After a few seconds of silence, the manager began twirling his fingers around each other in a 'get on with it' motion, and Jack snapped out of it.
"R-right... Th-the news. Ahem." He cleared his throat as his voice began to crack and did his best to read from his copy. "Today's top headlines. The president of Wallonia has announced..."
Jack began crossing and uncrossing his legs as he read. It took him a few minutes to realize what was happening. He was nervous, and when he got nervous, he often had to pee. And the urge could come on strong and sudden. When he realized how badly he had to go now, it was almost too late. He brought a hand down to his crotch to hold it, and he was now rocking back and forth in his seat so much that it was obvious he had to go.
"And now onto... onto... I-I've gotta go!"
Jack stood up to leave in the middle of his broadcast when a group of people burst into the news room.
"Jack Wellington, you are hereby detained by the Resource and Rehabilitation Center until further notice! Lie down, please!" Jack looked at the group - they all looked big and strong, and one of them was holding a very familiar looking puffy square that could only be one thing.
"No, not here! Please! I h-have to go..."
"You're not going anywhere!" said the person who had announced their entrance. Jack was holding his crotch and doing the potty dance. It was obvious what was about happen, and when the man from R&R grabbed his arm and yanked him up onto the news desk, it happened. The dam burst and Jack peed all over himself. Right there on national news. He watched in horror as his pants went damp, and all the white papers that had been on the desk turned yellow. He could feel the warmth between his legs, warm like a nice morning shower, but with dire consequences.
Jack couldn't do anything to hide what was happening either, because already the requisition crew was laying out a waterproof pad and cutting away all his clothing to dispose of what he would soon no longer need.
Jack's plaintive nos were soon turned into muffled sobs as his thumb was guided into his mouth. His clothes were soon gone and his bladder empty. His pants and undies were soon to be replaced with that big thick diaper they had brought with them, and his shirt with a tight and tiny baby tee that said 'R&R is for my own good!'
"Shhh, sweetie, it'll all be over soon. It's for your own good!"
Jack's mood shifted to frustration, verging on tantrum territory as his butt was lifted and lowered onto the incredibly thick and soft padding. It wasn't fair! He was doing so good at keeping his pants dry, and he had been so careful to hide his accidents. They should never have found out...
"There, there, sweet pea. You just relax now. Think of it as a vacation. And no one will think any less of you for this. It's for your own good."
The soothing words did little to calm Jack down as the cameras continued to record. He was sure that the timing was no coincidence. After all, this would be the perfect way to show the good people of the country that the R&R program really worked and was important for the citizens' wellbeing.
He watched as his clothing was carried away to the trash. Watched as the thick crinkly diaper was pulled up between his legs, sealing off his lower region and covering it in a thick and puffy protective layer that felt so frustratingly nice and comfortable.
"Aww, see? Isn't that better, little one?" said the diaperer, picking him up and patting him on the butt. "That's right. Just hold onto my neck. We'll take you out to the R&R happy wagon and take you to the center where you'll stay for the next several months..."
Shock, Jack looked up at the man, forgetting the cameras for a second. He pulled his thumb out of his mouth and spoke.
"M-months?"
"That's right, sweetie. Nine months to be exact. You were a very naughty boy and your wife explained everything." As the man spoke, he gently guided Jack's thumb back into his mouth giving the implicit suggestion that it was not to come out again.
Jack wanted to pitch a fit as he was carried off. He should have known that it was his wife, who had complained of his bedwetting, and the fact that he refused to do anything about it. He didn't want to wear diapers to bed, even if it meant she had to take care of his nightly accidents the next day. He was a man after all. How could she tattle on him like this? It wasn't fair!
But at least he was being carried out of view of the cameras. The cameras. Jacks eyes went wide. That was right, the cameras. Everyone who was anyone would know what had happened. He had wet his pants and been reduced to an infant in the eyes of the world, and there was no coming back from that. Sure, no one would bully him for it or make fun of him, but they would see him differently all the same. How could he ever live that down?
As he was carried out to the van, he saw the rows of seats with caretakers and newly acquired citizens strapped in their oversized child seats. He saw the open child seat waiting for him and soon understood that he wouldn't have to deal with the consequences of his public humiliation for quite some time. It was diapers and baby treatment for him, and the only news or world events he'd see would be what played on the baby channel between nap time and bedtime.
The caretakers that had grabbed him sighed and looked at him sympathetically. It was always hard at the beginning but in time he would get used to it.
"Its okay, sweet pea. You'll come to understand that it's for your own good too, and come to love your diapers. They always do. And eventually, you'll even get to be a big grown up newsman again. But you'll be wearing your proper undies then, won't you? Because you're going to lean that you need them, yes you will!"
The baby talk only continued from there as Jack was cooed at and coddled the whole trip back. He whimpered as he felt the uncontrollable urge to wet come again and pass as he filled his diaper. It was noticed immediately and he was praised for doing what he needed to and going in his didees. He knew that this was only the beginning.

I think it's about time I make another poll to determine just that! With all the free-write continuations I've started, it would be good to see what people want more of!
