“Midoriya, please.” Denki said sagely, placing a hand on Izuku’s shoulder in some kind of attempt at providing comfort. “You are literally the hottest piece of ass in this city right now, any dude would be lucky to match with you.”
“Even I’ve stared at your ass for way too long in that hero costume,” Ochako added. “I don’t even like dude-ass but I sure as hell keep looking.”
“Oh shut up!” Izuku blushed, slamming his hands over his face to try to hide it a little. “Don’t say things like that, you guys are so embarrassing!”
The group chuckled around him, and Izuku fumbled for a bottle with one hand, the other one carefully shielding his eyes so he wouldn’t have to see the way they all laughed at him. He took a long swig straight from the bottle, immediately regretting it, but forced himself to hold back the complaints that wanted to come out.
“We should make you an account,” Mina suggested, making Izuku splutter. “You can always turn people down if you’re not feeling it, but you should at least give yourself the chance!”
Before Izuku could find the words to shut them down, the group was gathering around Mina’s phone, scrolling through endless photos of him to pick some out for the profile he was apparently about to possess. They ignored his whines in favour of debating the merits of anonymity – whether posting pictures of him in his half-destroyed costume was a good idea for ‘sex appeal’ or whether it was just asking for stalkers to come his way. Izuku voted for the latter, not that they seemed to care what he thought.
“You need a good gym selfie,” Ochako suggested. “Don’t hot dudes always take mirror selfies after they get their pump on or whatever?”
“I’d say jacked dudes, not just hot dudes,” Denki corrected her. “But either way, Midoriya counts.”
“I don’t take gym selfies!” Izuku insisted, face immediately bright red again – he had a feeling it was going to remain that way for a while. “That’s so narcissistic!”
“Nah, it’s hot,” Denki said simply. “You should take one after your next workout, it’s always dead at that time of morning anyway, so you won’t have anyone staring.”
“How do you even know when I go to the gym?” Izuku huffed.
“The rest of us show up reluctantly and exhaustedly while you’re in the showers, and complain about how you make us look bad.”
Izuku pouted, but Denki just grinned back, turning his phone to show to the others.
“What about this one from the group chat?”
“Hell yeah, I’d forgotten about that one!” Mina agreed. “Damn Midoriya and his unintentional thirst traps, it’s so unfair.”
“Don’t you think we should make sure Midoriya is okay with this?” Momo suggested, and Izuku could have kissed her for it, if she didn’t exclusively kiss girls. “It’s his life.”
“Nah,” Ochako and Denki answered in tandem, giggling together happily.
“Thanks for trying,” Izuku said with a sheepish smile. “It’s okay, I can delete it when they leave, if I decide I don’t want it.”
“Trust me, you’re gonna love it,” Denki promised him. “I’ve met the hottest dudes on this thing, you’ll never look back.”
With the pictures apparently chosen, Ochako snatched Izuku’s phone, leaning into Mina’s side as the pair of them began to set him up a profile. Momo shot him a sympathetic smile when Denki shuffled over to join in excitedly, and Shouto offered him an attempt at consolation by patting him awkwardly on the shoulder – Izuku appreciated the effort, at least. It didn’t take them long to upload his pictures and write him a bio, and finally they handed him back his phone, looking way too proud of themselves and their handiwork.
“Thanks, I guess,” he conceded, taking a look at the screen. “You made me sound too good.”
“You are good,” Denki reminded him. “You’re a hot, young piece of hero ass, and the queer world deserves to see it!”
“You’ve had too much to drink,” Izuku said, cracking a smile nonetheless.
“Nope, he’s always like this,” Mina told him with a laugh. “He’s our resident Disaster Bi.”
“I thought that was you,” Denki objected. “Anyway, wherever you are you can just pull up the app and look at people nearby, then if you think they’re hot, you can send them a message!”
Izuku sighed, finally surrendering. Sure enough, it was all set up for him, email verified and everything – he probably should’ve been more careful about letting people take his phone – with his profile of way-too-good photos and conceited-looking bio still staring at him from the screen. He hit the icon to go to the main page, eyes widening a little when the nearby profiles showed up. There were eight of them in total, all apparently within a few kilometres of his apartment, but one photo in particular caught his eye immediately – a lazy, uncaring-looking shot of someone’s torso, with pants slung low around his hips, and thick, defined muscles covering every inch of him – his pecs, his abs, his biceps, his forearms, all ridiculously perfect and right there, on show.
“See something you like?” Denki teased.
“Nope, just picking which of these photos I’m gonna delete the moment you guys leave.”

He tapped on the profile, looking a little closer at the profile picture. The marker showing him within a hundred metres immediately sealed the deal, and Izuku locked his phone, tucking it into his pocket securely.
“I’ll take a look later, maybe,” Izuku told them, when Ochako pouted at him. “Right now I wanna hang out with you guys!”
“Fine,” she sighed. “You’re gonna be addicted, I promise.”

When the apartment was finally quiet again, everyone headed home with full stomachs and hangovers, Izuku found himself standing at Katsuki’s door. They’d been sharing an apartment since the moment they finished school, even through a few moves and jobs with new agencies, but Katsuki kept to himself most of the time, especially when Izuku had friends over. He paused for a minute, mentally debating whether or not to just pretend he’d never seen a thing, but finally he caved and knocked on the door, taking a deep breath to brace himself.
“What d’you want?” Katsuki asked.
“Can I talk to you for a sec?”
Katsuki sighed, but his footsteps headed Izuku’s way all the same, opening the door and raising one eyebrow at him, already annoyed.
“I uh, downloaded an app,” Izuku explained awkwardly. “Well, actually, the others downloaded it and made me an account because I said I was interested in trying it out, so they made me an account and set up my profile and stuff, but I digress. It uh, told me someone else had an account, within a hundred metres of me.”
“So?”
“So I don’t need to see your face to recognise a photo of you, Kacchan.”
Katsuki visibly tensed, and Izuku immediately felt guilty.
“Sorry, I probably shouldn’t have called you out like that, I just... Well, it’s not like we don’t both know how hot you are, and if I’d known you were into dudes I probably would’ve shot my shot a long time ago, even at risk of making things weird because I feel like we can handle that.”
“Are you hitting on me?”
“I’m certainly trying.”
Katsuki snorted, and Izuku relaxed a little, face softening into a smile as Katsuki stepped aside, waving him in.
“Front door locked?” he asked.
“Of course.”
“Come on, then, I could use a good lay.”
Izuku blushed, with how blatantly Katsuki just put it out there, but he also felt blood rushing somewhere else, and he hoped Katsuki wouldn’t notice – or wouldn’t mind if he did.
When the bedroom door closed behind them, Katsuki reached out, taking a handful of Izuku’s shirt and pulling him into a kiss. “Next time we’re using your bed,” Katsuki grumbled, as he stared at the fluid all over his duvet cover. “You made such a damn mess.”
“Next time?”
“Shut up, nerd.”
