Let's take a look through some ANIMERICA magazines from the 90s! I used to like this magazine as a kid, so I recently purchased a few issues to look back on. Enjoy!

I remeber the old days when you would go to a retail store and they would only put one or two episodes of an Anime show on an entire video tape. We get spoiled these days with boxsets and streaming.

Yay! I'm glad you liked this. And ooh, High Score Girl sounds cool! I think someone mentioned it before but I had no idea what it was about. I'll look it up, thanks!

Ah man that was a bit of a trip down memory lane! There were a couple of pages in there that looked like they were about Ronin Warriors and that brought me back to the classic Toonami days! I LOVED that anime so much back then! Sailor Moon and Tenchi Muyo were my firsts and it grew from there! My Neighbor Totoro was also the first Studio Ghibli movie and still my favorite one to this day. I'm not so much into anime these days but I watched quite a bit back in high school and a bit afterwards. Trigun is my favorite out of all the ones I watched back then. I will recommend a new one for you to check out on Netflix. It's called High Score Girl and its a slice-of-life type anime that's basically about growing up in 90s Japan during the retro gaming and arcade era. Definitely recommend it if you're up for something new!
