Updates - Babysitter Bloodbath cd-roms and more
🕑 Added 2018-07-12 08:15:06 +0000 UTC Hey guys, I took a brief break for memorial day and played some games. Mostly Devil Daggers and Enter the Gungeon. I've got some special on the wayNight Shift has some bugs I'm working on and Stay out of the House is progressing. I haven't been rushing out the Night Shift update because the current issues shouldn't be game breaking and the game doesn't have much replayability (the closet thing I've actually made to a walking sim to date). The most prominent one is the broom glitch and the arcade machine not working (I'm going to have to recode most of the arcade game eventually). The patch should be out next week.
Stay out of the House is getting new areas for 4.0, which will be the first alpha of the full the game. The map size should be increasing by double or triple. New puzzles and more advanced mechanics are coming of course.
Spoilers: I'm strongly considering multiple killers in the house - different members of the family with different strengths and weaknesses. Each confined to the area of the house you visit. But on the other hand, I'm not sure if that would detract from the experience. It would definitely make development a bit harder. End spoilers
I'l thrilled to announce that Puppet Combo has reached the funding goal! I would have mentioned it sooner, but I was afraid that it would dip back down. Thank you for all the support! I'm bring a new programmer on board for a secret project I think you guys are going to love.
Babysitter Bloodbath discs are on the way. I hit few snags with the printing company, but things are back on track for late July, early August.

I think multiple killers would be cool, especially if you're looking to extend this into a full-length experience. either way this is really cool and i' excited.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I honestly see both sides. On one hand multiple kills adds to the gameplay and could work (I mean TCM and Hills have eyes do it great). On the other hand, it's more work and a single killer is probably more realistic and intense. I guess it depends on whether I want a more realistic serial killer game, or a crazy grindhouse style extravaganza. I do kind of have an ending in mind, but a chase scene will be considered

Please No to the "multiple killers"! will absolutely detract from the experience... and would be great to have a chase ending scene? maybe a last heart attack moment; with the psycho running behind you if you're escaping
