After reading Inspired Mass and A Terran Resolution, I decided to make my own Mass effect fic but starting with a Quarian Female MC.

February 15th, 2169
1000 Light Years from the Perseus Veil, well outside of the Relay Network, was a star system rich in resources. The Artificial Intelligence named Rhianne, after a Princess of the Aeon Illuminate, called this star system: Gateway.
This was a binary star system consisting of an orange dwarf and a companion red star. This star system had its own planetary system. In this system, there were at least four planets, but the one that interests us is the second planet; it appeared as a temperate planet, which harbored numerous large bodies of water.
The survey drone that discovered the star system and this viable planet analyzed the resources that this planet has to offer; they were similar to Earth's, but richer in Titanium and Palladium. A perfect base for what Rhianne's knight wished to build in this star system.
The Armored Command Unit teleported to the star system on the northern continent rich in metal deposits. The teleportation destroyed the forest and mountain it appeared in as the transfer went through. The land was completely flattened.
Rhianne immediately deployed her radar and sensitive scanners, finding no threats. The ACU moved out of the small crater it had created when it teleported and put together a topographic map of the next 100 kilometers around it by deploying flying drones. It easily found important veins of minerals it needed and launched three Mass Extractors.
Five hours later, Rhianne had enough material to create three arc reactors scaled to her original Power Generator. She built three of them thanks to her Engineers after laying the groundwork for a base. The multilayered reinforced military compound sprang around her in a matter of two days. It took another week to build a Mass Driver to send satellites and ships into space.
The Engineers constructed three space-capable shuttles, allowing Rhianne to cover the planet in a net of Satellites to monitor everything.

I was vibing with AmaLee's song -Now considered classical music-, singing along and sauntering toward the Afterlife. I’ve fixed a district and took it over as well, and now I need to pay tribute to the big boss in Omega or should I say that I was summoned as well?
Her envoy practically invaded my shop to give me the invite to her club, the Asari was a no-nonsense mercenary type who I sold a pistol and an assault rifle to. She gushed over the heat sink mods and the targeting computer linked to her goggles’ HUD. I made 20k credits in an afternoon thanks to her, she was loaded. She promised to let her friends know about my shop and bring me more business; she also asked if I did armor. Fortunately, it was in the works, and I intended to present the Hoplite armor line soon.
I was so happy that I made myself a new suit geared toward electronic warfare and stealth. Anyway, Zanna, Zithor, and Truurax came with me to meet Omega’s Queen. Zithor had decided to follow me while being under cloak and with a full loadout of weapons; he was testing the Hoplite armor prototype for me.
The doors to the Afterlife wooshed open, and my music player on my omni-tool stopped with a thought. The bass boosted music filled the air, I recognized it as some kind of Asari made techno-symphonic music bullshit. It was hard on my ears as I was used to Human and Quarian music; then there were the lights and lasers in a different range of colors, such as purple and red, I had no name for. That was quite distracting to my Quarian eyes, which could see more colors in the light spectrum than the other races.
The club was bigger than when I played the Mass Effect video games; there were more people and more exotic dancers. From what I could see, the nightclub has three floors, and like in the game, on the ground floor there was a large circular bar with asari dancers performing atop the center section, and the dancefloor was full of partygoers talking, laughing or dancing.
I walked toward the bar and asked the Salarian barman wearing a purple and black suit, “Hello, a glass of Asari Honey Mead, please.”
“Coming right up.” The Salarian said by raising a finger.
He pulled a transparent ceramic glass from the fabricator next to him, as he turned to the dispensary with many labeled bottles filled with different liquids and alcoholic beverages, the barman grabbed a bottle and poured a golden liquid into the glass.
He placed the bottle back on the shelf, put a straw in the glass, and came back to me. “That will be 20 credits.”
“Here, thank you.” I waved my omni-tool and paid the barman, who received the money.
On my HUD, my VI told me that the transaction went through. Grabbing my drink, I put the straw in my induction port and started sipping from the honeyed alcoholic beverage. Some people were looking at me with hostility, which made me smile. The Asari, Salarians, and Turians did their social engineering well to incite speciesism in their sheep. I glared at them and almost reached for my weapon.
Truurax placed himself between me and the people, glaring at me. “Little Yuna, ignore them. I know that body language, you're thinking of shooting everyone here. That’s a bad idea…”
I clicked my tongue, letting my hand fall along my right side. “I did think about shooting them.”
“Don't, you're here for business, remember.” Truurax insisted.
I took a last swig of my mead and put the glass back on the counter for the barman. “Fine, Truu. Let's go see Aria and finish with this. I have better things to do.” But there was something iffy about this situation, as if those people had been waiting for me.
On the Tactical Network, I gave my associate a command, “Zithor, mark those who take too much an interest in me on the list of immediate threat; they might cause problems later.”
Zithor replied, “I would say that you're paranoid, Yuna. But so far, your instincts have always been spot on.”
“Constant vigilance!” I said with a giggle.
The Krogan at my side sighed. “You kids are weird, but you're not wrong to be cautious, this is Omega.”
After that, we walked toward the second floor where Aria was. When we arrived, I noticed that there was a large circular opening in the center, above which more asari dancers perform on a large ring suspended from the ceiling and surrounding a large purple holographic cylinder that extends all the way to the ceiling. Around the outer edge of this floor, there is an elevated section with holographic images along the wall and booths where people can watch dancers giving private shows.
The people there were having more fun drinking and speaking, and damn I wished that there was a beautiful human female redhead to give me a show. I’m kind of fed up with Asari. Weirdly, humans haven’t gotten on Omega yet. Let’s wait more years for that to happen…
I spotted a private and well-guarded lounge, and there were a bunch of Krogan and Turian standing overwatch there. “Ah, found you.”
This was where Aria T’Loak was, lording over her small court. Truurax and I walked toward it. “There we go~”

“Reb's pirate crew is becoming a problem in the Rosetta Nebula, Aria. When are we going to take care of them?” Patriarch said with a serious look on his face.
“Take care of them, take a small flotilla.”
Her advisor was right, Reb’s has been raiding the shipment reserved for the agrarian colony Aria was developing to feed people on Omega. The Industrial Fabricators that she sent over to develop the colony more and ramp up production kept getting attacked like clockwork. Somehow, someone was feeding Reb information, and she needed to know who to stop this from happening.
She took a sip of her glass filled with Relay Brandy, and she saw one of her Turian bodyguards come up to her and say, “Boss, there’s a Quarian named Yuna’Hurrel who says that you invited her.”
Aria put down her drink in the cup holder of her sofa's armchair. “Ah, she did come. Good, let her come up.”
“Sure, boss.” The turian nodded and left to fetch Omega's new emerging power.
Aria stood up and looked at the giant purple hologram behind her booth, it was an Asari dancing lewdly. If she remembered correctly, she had sex with the model ten years ago.
The girl had been skilled and very willing. She’s now back on Thessia, taking care of her child, whom she had with a human, last she heard.
The Asari heard footsteps behind her, she heard a peppy, “Hello there!”
The voice was young and excited; when Aria turned to the Quarian girl who was walking the white and black steps of the booth, she said, “That’s close enough.”
A Turian bodyguard accosted the girl and began scanning her with his omni-tool. “Stand still, suit rat.”
Aria noted that he could have been less rude to the girl; she didn’t miss the way her Quarian guest almost reached for her pistol to shoot her bodyguard. But the girl stopped herself, making Aria sigh at the impetuousness of youth.
The Turian turned to Aria and said, “She’s clean, boss.”
Aria nodded, and the Turian stepped out, his hands on his weapon as the girl looked at him, her expression inscrutable because of the opaque purple glass of her visor. Her attention came back on Aria, fortunately. The Asari returned to sit on her sofa and crossed her legs, and put her hands in her lap as she started to speak. “Yuna’Hurrel, you’ve become a problem.”
The girl tilted her head and chuckled. “I am?”
Aria glared at the girl and sat forward, succinctly enunciating Yuna’s feats. “On your first day on this space station you killed two gang rats, and one week later you started a business on Omega instead of going to the Quarian slum like I expected you to and now you removed the two gangs, and one of them was a powerful one that had a death grip on the Gozu District while becoming the leader of the Quarians there. You did it cleanly, without bloodshed for your associates, I’m… impressed.”
Yuna’Hurrel nar Laekor, a genius of the Quarian fleet who is able to overhaul and retrofit a spaceship with subpar materials; she was completely different from normal Quarians who are afraid of Virtual Intelligence and employ the use of robots and drones to supplement her work. Her actions spoke of a logical mind unimpaired by the trappings of Quarian Nomadic Culture. She’s a scientist, an engineer and an excellent weaponsmith; Aria found it strange that the Quarian Admiralty let go such a prodigy to their pilgrimage scam.
Was it politics? Or something I’m not aware of?
The girl sighed and went to sit on the leftmost sofa; as she looked back at Aria, she spoke, “I hated it when I heard that those degenerates were trying to kill my people. We are endangered because of certain people's ideas of punishment.”
Aria rolled her eyes at the light jab against her race. “Oh, if you have any complaints, refer them to those old conniving sluts back in Thessia.”
The girl chuckled. “It’s the plan.”
Omega’s queen frowned at this; she didn’t know what to think. The girl asked Aria, “So, why am I here? O Queen.”
Aria laughed. “I want to ask you that same question, Yuna’Hurrel. What do you want? Why did you choose to come to Omega?”
The girl laughed back. “It’s easy, Aria.” Luna sat forward, and her opaque visor became crystal clear. “I want to make money.”
It had been 300 years since Aria had seen the face of a Quarian, and she was surprised. But she quickly gathered her wit back and demanded, “Elaborate.”
The little shit had the gall to make a long suffering sigh. “Keelah, okay fine. I’m going to make a lot of money, do you want in on my plan?”
With a wave, Aria said, “Like the humans say, I’m all ears.”
“I doubt that, you don’t have any.” The girl quipped, grinning at her through her helmet.
Suddenly, Aria really wanted to have that girl shot. Yuna started fiddling with her omni-tool before she threw a cube of data to Aria’s own device. “Anyway~, before I tell you about my sure fire plan to become richer than those bitches on Illum… I want to ask you, Aria. Do you think that’s air you’re breathing?”
A holo-screen appeared on Omega’s queen arm; it was an atmospheric analysis report, and it showed her that the oxygen in the club was poisoned. “What the fuck?!”
Before doing anything, Aria used her omni-tool to make a similar analysis, but there were different results shown. She used her second omni-tool on her other arm, the one she used for emergencies only, and discovered the same result as Yuna. Not only was her regular omni-tool compromised, but someone was slowly trying to kill them!
Aria shouted to the nearest bodyguard, “Someone, bring me a fucking mask!”

Back with Yuna…
I was sipping on a bit of water in a plastic bottle with an integrated straw as I waited for Aria and her men to put on their survival gear; they are lucky that I discovered this plot. The poisoning was clearly an STG operation and a contingency to be able to take the station without casualties on their side. I recognized the tracks left by their hacking programs.
This was different from what I knew happened in the fictional depiction of this universe. Just this told me that I shouldn't trust my metaknowledge too deeply and put all my eggs in one basket. Message received, Universe. Keelah, this is some fucking good water, perfectly purified.
It was better than the water at my place. Aria kept the best stuff for herself, huh? I might have to make myself a better water filtration system; maybe something working with advanced reverse osmosis. I started drawing the plans while waiting for Aria. This might help Omega as well, if my hunch isn’t false and Aria hired me to work on the life support system of the space station.
Speaking of the Asari, here she was, clad in a white and purple spacesuit, followed by her contingent of bodyguards. Even her Krogan advisor was wearing a suit; there were a lot of weapons on display as well.
Zithor contacted me on the comm. “Yuna, do I shoot them? They look mighty pissed off.”
“No, don’t do anything, Zithor. If they do point their weapons at me, you’re free to shoot.”
“Roger.” Zithor did as commanded. Good, I don't want this situation to get worse.
I contacted Zanna right after that. "Zanna, are you still casing outside?”
My new associate replied right away. “Yes, and there’s some strange activity happening, I’m seeing some people getting into position outside the club.”
Aria stopped before me and asked, “Did you do this?”
I leaned back against the sofa, spreading my arms on the cushions. “Nope, I may have done something similar to the last gang I destroyed, but why would I want to do that with someone I want to do business with? Plus, I don’t want your throne, too much work. I’m a thinker and a scientist, Aria. I prefer leaving the managerial position to someone else while I invent or fix stuff.”
Aria frowned at me, as if she couldn't believe that someone didn't want her cushy position.
I rolled my eyes at her and stood up. “Dear Queen of Omega, Do I know who or which group just tried to have everyone killed, and Why they did so? Do I have the motivations of said person or group also?
Aria crossed her arms and asked, “You know who did this?”
I sneered as I said, “The Salarian STG.”
Aria perked up, her arms falling alongside her body. She became thoughtful as she said, “I see them do that, yes. But do you have proof?”
I nodded, showing my omni-tool, selecting the data I hacked from the agents I discovered on the space station. “Here it is, I even highlighted the location of their cell on Omega. Use your spare Omni-tool; the one you normally use is compromised. Actually, all of your people should change theirs and use my OS. I plan to release it for my business partners. To avoid the inbuilt backdoor that the Asari and Salarian placed on the commercially built Omni-tools.”
When Aria showed her spare omni-tool, I immediately transferred the data. As Aria started consulting the info and evidence I've gathered, she said, “You came prepared.”
As if I was going to let my story end here; I have a goal in mind, save my people, show the world that the Council of Races is a pyramid scheme to make it change and defeat the Reapers for good without those bullshit color choices from the games depicting this universe.
“I have to, this world isn’t kind to people like me.”
Aria showed me her spare Omni-Tool with the data I freely gave her. She shook her head. “This isn’t why you came here, but knowing that the Salarian wants to replace me with one of their own to shadow control the Terminus system is nice, but I want to know… what do you want from me? You’ve been dropping hints since we met, and I have an idea why. But I want to hear you say it.”
That woman wasn't stupid and could follow the breadcrumbs I was giving her. She was league's better than those assholes from the Admiralty in the fleet. I took another file from my Omni-Tool and sent it to her. “I came with an offer to become business partners and to make Omega the envy of the council race, and make the Citadel look no better than a dump. And to convince you, I brought gifts.”
I plan to make this haven of scum and villainy a true counter balance to the Citadel; and for this to happen, I must have Aria sponsor the technologies I want to release and make Omega better and secure to release my weapons and ship technology.
“You, I like you.” Aria said as she saw the schematics of a device to make artificial Eezo and the plan to rebuild the space station with my Engineers and constructors.
I tilted my head and asked, “The feeling is mutual, so do you want in on that?”
Aria raised a hand, and the old Krogan behind her stepped forward. “Patriarch, let's start writing a contract between us and Miss Hurrel.”
