Callisto 0.40 - Week 4 Update
🕑 Added 2020-03-27 09:47:12 +0000 UTCLittle bit of a mixed week this week. Managed to complete Liberation of Dione - location 2 on Monday and have now finalised all of the sets for location(s) 3. I have however only done a portion of the scene posing for location 3. Hence the completion of the main story is expected roughly the middle of next week.
The scene creation for location 2 of the main story was more complicated than I originally suspected. There are a significant number of effects used in these scenes, which greatly increased the creation time per image. However these images are crucial to the development of the story, hence I didn't want to scrimp of quality. I think you will be pleased with the result.
Next week will see the completion of the Liberation of Dione story line. Over the course of today I finished the final location for the story. As I am really pleased with the result, I have elected to create some significant lewd content at this location.
In relation to the style of lewd content moving forwards (re: Poll), I am electing to do a blend of both (interactive and non-interactive). How this will work, is that I will select a single location for each character for the interactive animations. These will be on the ship and be repeatable as the player desires. In addition to this, there will be the non-interactive style that will be at other locations or in other scenarios. Some of these non-interactive scenes will be repeatable, some will not. Hopefully this will offer the best of both worlds.
As virtually every single image I have created over the past week would be a massive spoiler, a test image from the location I have worked on today. Most of it is from a single purchased asset, however I have extensively tweaked to my needs (surfaces, props, fixing instancing, model tweaks).
Hence updated progress as below (running about 3 days behind schedule):
Week 1 - Characters / Sets (completed)
Week 2 - Liberation of Dione - location 1 (completed)
Week 3 - Liberation of Dione - location 2 ( completed )
Week 4 - Liberation of Dione - location 3 (50%)
Week 5 / 6 - Animations
Week 7 / 8 - Ship Content
Week 9 - Beta Testing / Side Mission
Week 10 - Release
