Callisto 0.40 - Week 6 Update
🕑 Added 2020-04-10 04:28:30 +0000 UTCSpent the start of the week creating some additional characters that you would have seen in the poll. Followed this up with tweaking one of my sets for night renders as seen below.
Last few days I have then been creating static renders and animations for the lewd content related to the location above.
This morning I play-tested through the main story arc for 0.40, which is now complete including music and sound effects. It's about 50% longer than the story line in 0.30, however is in 2 large chunks rather than 5 smaller ones. Currently there is one branch, however I may include others, dependent upon feedback during testing. As mentioned before, the branches in the main story line at this stage are more superficial. They will increase in frequency and consequence as the story progresses. It is simply a matter of maintaining control over the content such that most of it is seen within a single play through.
The voting in the poll has been interesting, with a couple of the characters that I thought would do quite well, not doing as well as expected. However on the bright side, my two favourite characters are polling nicely. What this means, is that there is a very good chance that the top 4 characters in the poll will all appear in the club in 0.50. Being more specific on a couple of characters, I will likely give you an option of a tweaked Gia character. I created the character some time ago and it lacks some of the polish of the more recent characters. The tweaked Gia will be posted in the early stages of 0.50 to gather some feedback for Patreons. I quite like the Paige character as a creation, however the strip club is probably not the best environment in which to feature the character. Hence I will likely have her appear in a completely different situation. As a slight reminder, you can vote for more than 1 performer.
On to the progress update:
- Week 1 to 4 - Complete
- Week 5 / 6 - Animations - 30%
- Week 7 / 8 - Ship Content
- Week 9 - Beta Testing / Side Mission
- Week 10 - Release
Getting a little distracted by real world events of late, hence progress over the last week was not quite what I hoped. Really need to pose about 12 animations next week to prevent slipping on the schedule any further. I'll let you know how I go.

PS: I looked into some animation assets during this week, however they were simply not at the quality required. As such, I will be animating from scratch. Thankfully my skills are improving with each animation and I am starting to create a repository of animations I can use with different characters / outfits / locations.
