Callisto v0.60 Update - Week 0
🕑 Added 2021-01-08 03:49:01 +0000 UTCAfter a bit of a break over the holidays, it's back to work at full speed next week. Wasn't completely idle over the Christmas period and have reworked the introduction to the game with the assistance of Professorx10. This gives a new player a better initial experience and sets the stage for the main game. It also directs them more effectively to the in game help. Just a sample screen from the new intro.
I have also been reflecting on the frequency of the updates and have elected to reduce the quantity of scheduled content to be included in each version. This won't reduce the size of the completed game, but merely increase the quantity and frequency of updates. As mentioned previously the game is shifting to be far more story line heavy. If you take a look at the work summary and schedule for the next version below. Items 1, 2, 3 are all closely connected to the main storyline.
I have also elected to expand the current salvaging mechanic slightly and also introduce some piracy into the game. The Callisto universe won't be quite as safe as it used to be. As always, if you want some additional information, you can reach me on Discord (https://discord.gg/pcFpmVw).
Thanks for the support,
Xav
