Crushed Love - Chapter 4
🕑 Added 2020-12-21 14:39:08 +0000 UTCI should have asked her to marry me. Then I would have been a shrunken mistreated almost forgotten husband. I would have something to get a grip on, some legal terms that I could use as a defense and maybe free myself from Melany’s ignorance and indifference. I could start a new life.
But no.
I was not a husband. I was nothing. I used to be the perfect boyfriend. But it was stripped of me one night. Happened not long after one year of being shrunken. Melany came in her room completely drunk, with a guy. I looked in disbelief as they closed the door and kissed each other madly, moaning, removing clothes. I looked at them from under the closet door.
“Wait…” said Melany, then she giggled, and she walked towards the closet. She swung the doors open and almost lost her balance doing it. Quickly, she got rid of her old loosely tied high top sneakers using only her feet to slip out.
“What’s up?” the guy said behind her.
“Nothing…Just have to remove my shoes.” Said Melany, spotting me on the floor. “There you are… come here.” She whispered to me snatching me with her huge hand and immediately stuffing me in the right shoe she just removed. It was warm and humid. And smelly. I only had time to turn around. She had already removed both of her white socks and stuffed them to seal me inside the sneaker. She pushed on the socks so deep I had to fall back to prevent being stuck under them. I had to fall back deeper into the shoe on the still humid spongy insole.
“There.” I heard outside the shoe. Then laughs. Then I heard to closet doors being closed and little bit later the moaning resumed. I could only guess what was happening there.
Melany had never crushed me that hard before. From then on I became “nothing”. Not worth being acknowledged as “someone”, Melany even took away “something” from me. I wasn’t even some thing…I was now nothing. It burdened me so much I fell to my knees and then laid down face first into the still sweaty insole of the shoe I was in, and I inhaled deeply. I was at my place, where I belonged, while my girlfriend was being banged by some random guy she was too drunk to say no to. And obviously she was having a blast too, because she took care of making me disappear before doing it. She took the time to stuff me in her sneaker, trying to seal me away from what she was about to do with that other guy. Did she want to protect me, or just plainly torture me? Was she too drunk to even think about such things?
Why? She didn’t even like having sex. That was one of the things that got us together in the first place. Well, from the screams and moans I heard in her bedroom at that time, while smelling the freshly worn insole of her sneaker, she was having a good time. I couldn’t even comprehend how sad and broken I suddenly became.
But that’s not it. Over the next weeks, the guy came back. And then months and it was a different guy. I wanted to have a serious discussion with Melany but she denied it. She ignored me most of the time, pretending she couldn’t hear me, or she would just tell me to shut up. Then, I was stuffed into a shoe. Once, I remained stuck in her shoe for a complete week without her removing the sock blocking me from escaping.
Months passed. I was shattered in thousand pieces. Emotionally broken. Exhausted from the constant anxiety. Crippled by fear of rejection and verbal abuse. Melany’s indifference was driving me crazy. I tried anything to get her attention. Every time I would hide in the shoes she was about to wear, she would tell me to get out, and if I refused she would take the shoe, and shake me out of it. Those were the only moments she was interacting with me. I never knew why she stopped loving me. Did she get bored by me? Did she feel bad having me in her shoe? Did I hurt her? Did she got to meet new people? Her life, her real true normal sized life continued as compared to mine, which had stopped. I was practically dead.
Her life continued without me.
And one day, goodness, miraculous day, I was saved. Doors of the closet swung open. I crawled out of and old ballet slipper Melany used to wear a lot. Sara was there, like an angel.
“James, where are you?” she said. Someone calling me by my name. My real name. Someone talking to me? I stood up and walked closer to her, waving my hands in the sun rays coming from the window. “Come with me.” She said, placing her hand palm up on the floor next to me.
“What are you doing in my room?” said Melany, bursting in the room behind Sara.
“Shut up Mel. You don’t love him anymore, this is just plain cruelty.” Said Sara. I stepped onto her hand and placed myself in fetal position. Sara’s soft fingers curled around, trapping me inside her fist, protected from anything. I felt safer than ever.
“You know what? Fine. Take him, good riddance!” Said Melany, upset. I felt movement, Sara was walking.
“You should be ashamed.” Said Sara. “I should never have agreed to shrink him for you.”
“Get out of my room!” Said Melany. And that’s how Sara brought me away. She placed me inside her purse.
“Don’t worry James, you’ll be safe in there. I’m bringing you home. I moved out and I am renting my own place. I’ll take care of you.” Said Melany’s older sister. Those were the most comforting words, the ones I needed.
…I had no idea what she intended to do to me. But I knew one thing for sure: Sara saved me.
