We’ll glue the insole over you, so you’ll have to break it and get free. Once you got the giant girl’s attention, explain the situation and ask her to call the police. Then everything should be fine and they will come to save us.” Explained Simon as I sat in my carved insole hole. “Remember, our faith is in your hands.” He added.
“Oh shut up Simon.” Said Roberta crouching and putting a hand on my shoulder. “It’s all going to be just fine my dear. Don’t stress, stay put and then get free at the right moment.” She smiled to me. The others were also gathered around in the shoe. Eric and Sam just nodded and hopped out. Angie and Tina stayed with me and hugged me. I laid down and they placed the insole over me. They glued it back together.
“We can’t see you, this is perfect.” Said Simon. “It’s like you’re not even there.”
“You think this will work?” asked Angie.
“Yes, definitely.” He said back. “Good luck Lisa!”
They all wished me luck and they got out of the shoe. At first I was okay with the entrapment. I was under the arch area of the sole. Just an inch past the heel area so she wouldn’t crush me inadvertently. I couldn’t move much, maybe my arms a bit. My body was almost level with the insole. I went over the plan again in my head. All I had to do is wait for the right moment to punch and break out, then get the girl’s attention. It sounded and seemed to be fairly easy. So far all seemed to be just alright, and I had my hopes up, I was the one to free my friends. I took some deep breathes. Aside from the faint glue smell and the strong foot sweat odor, I was fine, I could breathe just fine. I was nervous, but I tried to calm down.
The very first minutes pas the initial stress were calm, but then the Box lid’s opened and our tormentor picked up the shoes. I felt very shaken. The shoes were being moved around placed somewhere, then moved again, then it was over. Like usual, she must have taken the sneakers out and placed them on a shelf ready for pick up by customer. It didn’t take long before the bell of the shop’s door gingled and my world was moved around fast again. It truly was like a rollercoaster. The customer paid, Sneakers were dropped in a bag and voilà, I was out in the free world with this customer whom I did not know anything about. What an adventure I thought. But I had to keep in mind that I had a mission, and that it would be all about getting this person’s attention by hitting her giant foot with my fists once she actually wears the shoes. I wiggled and tried to move my arms a bit in my little insole coffin. I tried the insole material above me and for some reasons, they really glued it well. I pushed against it but I was not able to make it move.
Later on, after a while, I felt like the shoes were actually being given some attention. Dropped on the ground, I landed with a thud. Then, laces were being loosened and I thought that was it, my chance had finally come. Above me the girl was getting ready for something and soon, the shoe was filled by something large, heavy and imposing. I could only guess it was her foot. The intense brushing sound of her socked massive foot was deafening. Then came the pressure. I wasn’t ready for that, the pressure. Even if I was under her arch, all her foot pressed down the insole which was absorbing her weight in an equal manner. I felt the shoe’s insole press against my body and the heat was suddenly rising. That was my chance. I had to unleash.
I started screaming, trashing left and right, kicking, punching, but the insole material was glued too strong. I tried to get free but I realized it would be harder than I thought.
“Help! HELP ME! I am in your shoe! HELP!” I screamed. But all I could hear was the laces being tied. The heat continued rising, the pressure, while bearable, was really constraining my movements. I tried to get free in vain. Now the panic started to take hold of me. For some reasons, maybe was it because I was too small, or too well hidden under the insole, but… she wouldn’t react. The giantess above me didn’t react at all. I tried to breathe slower but then I realized air was thicker. Heat continued to rise and all of a sudden BOOM, I felt like the whole shoe hit the floor really hard. I thinks he stomped me. That gave me an instant headache and I couldn’t breathe for like 30 seconds, she knocked the wind out of me. I trid to grasp for air, but the pressure on me was so intense the whole insole was compressed and crushed under the massive weight of this giant normal sized woman I knew nothing about. I tried to resist, move, or struggle, or wiggle, I tried to move and scream but I was unable to, the pressure was too strong, and she started walking. Each step the whole shoe sole was pressed down immensely and I was inside.
I started to think that it was a terrible idea after all. Especially when the walking became more regular and the pressure was pounding on me. I had to time my breathing with her movements, sometimes getting the wind knocked out of me. I was inside a sneaker and if it wasn’t for the cushiony insole protecting me I would be dead by now. All I had to do is endure and then wait for her to remove the shoe to get free. I had to really stay strong and keep my mind in order, but it was really hard not to feel claustrophobic. And then the pounding became more intense… more regular, more heavy…
She was jogging.
Besides the pressure and the constant pounding, the heat and smell started to get hard to deal with. At first I got used to the shoe’s inherent foot smell that was present and all around me. But beads of foot sweat were dripping through the shoe’s insole on me, and the smell intensified and I got completely disgusted by it. “PLEASE HELP!” I don’t even know why I was screaming, there was no way this woman could hear me.
I was in deep trouble. Very deep.
