Liziverse Pilot - Progress Report #2
🕑 Added 2020-07-10 07:56:53 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
Well, I've gotten all of the pole-dancing animation done. It ended up taking me a bit longer, because I always forget just how different dancing is from sex animations. I'm not 100% happy with these animations, especially since these are less "pole dancing" and more "pole simulated sex," but I think they'll clean up rather nicely - and the overtness of the motion plays nicely into the narrative!
Today's WIP is rather long, because I decided to show off all of the major angles, too. Whenever I am putting together these WIPs, I always have an inner struggle of determing how much is too much - I don't want people to see the finished product and be unimpressed because "meh I already saw this in the WIPs." But between the unpolished animation, jigglebone clipping, lack of lighting, and no cinematic polish (camera motion, audio, etc), I think this is safe to show as-is.
I was hoping to get the lap-dance animations done, too, but that simply isn't the case. I am not going to stress about it though. If the first comes and goes, then the first comes and goes. As it is, it's only the 9th right now. There's still plenty of time to make up the difference.
On the audio side of things, Innie and I have gone through and slightly tweaked the screenplay, and we've put together a recording schedule for her. If all goes well, I should have the non-dub audio in my hands by Saturday evening (July 11), and the dub audio that next Saturday (July 18).
Not much more to report! If you follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed I've put together and released a few things these past few days. Part of why I haven't gotten more animation done than I have is I've been feeling oddly restless in the small-asset-production department. I've also written a few tools that I haven't shown publicly.
Hopefully next week I will have all of the lap-dance animations done, and the wip post will be a blocking super-screenshot of the narrative segment, which will have its audio installed!
Until then, take care everyone!

Yeah dancing is a challenge. One I'm still trying to figure out myself.
