Progress Report - September 24, 2021
🕑 Added 2021-09-25 08:01:45 +0000 UTCHello, everyone!
You may have noticed that today's preview image isn't an Overbreed WIP. And that's because I don't have any Overbreed content to share this week. I do, however, have a story to share. And believe it or not, these two are related!
For those of you who actually read the screenplay, you probably recognized that last week's WIP, ending on "how about I put something else in your mouth instead?" was just about the end of the against-wall sex sequence, transitioning into the facefucking sequence. All that was left to animate at that point was Sombra attempting to say "por favor" while Mercy held her tongue, and then Mercy playfully tapping Sombra's cheek while ordering her to get onto her knees. Sombra smiles wickledly, and slides down the wall onto her knees, and moves in to suck Mercy's dick before Mercy denies her and clarifies that, since Sombra wanted her in control, then she is the one in control - not Sombra. Sombra only sucks dick when Mercy tells her to suck dick - not before, not after.
Well, I got the "por favor", cheek tap, and "knees" sequences done without consequence. I animated Sombra sliding down the wall onto her knees. And...
Yeah.
For those who don't see the problem, getting Sombra onto her knees requires her to be far away from the wall and far below a comfortable height for sucking Mercy's dick. This is what the pose is supposed to look like, per my references:
Back more-or-less square against the wall, knees out straight, feet ostensibly tucked up right underneath her butt, and head at a height where her partner only needs to lightly bend his knees to have a straight shot into her mouth.
Looking back at the pose above, we can see that... we have none of that. This is predominantly caused by two issues. The first issue is Sombra's proportions. Namely, as with most all Overwatch women, Sombra's legs are ridiculously long compared to her torso. This has the consequence of meaning she can't have her feet underneath her butt, and have her knees straight out while her calves lay against the floor for support. Instead, the closest you can get is what you see in the Sombra picture: feet scooted behind her butt (meaning she has to be jutting out away from the wall), calves laying flat against the floor, but knees at a downward angle.
The second issue is the characters' relative heights. Mercy is on the tall side for a woman, and just below the average height for a man, at 5'7 (170cm). Sombra, on the other hand, is hilariously short (and is, in fact, shorter than DVa), at 5'4 (163cm). Then consider the fact that, like Sombra, the majority of Mercy's height is her legs, and Sombra being on her knees means the majority of her height becomes her torso, and you end up with a huge height disparity - Mercy's long legs versus Sombra's short torso. And you get Sombra's head sitting at thigh-level with Mercy.
Okay, so then we eschew Sombra sitting on her feet, and just get her to cock-sucking level. Easy fix, right?
Not so much. If I only ever show Sombra above the waist, it could work: back flush against the wall, head at the perfect cock-sucking height. But her legs are at an impossible angle. There's no way she could support herself like that. I can't pull her feet back more to get her calves flush with the floor, because her feet would be going through the wall then. Pulling her pelvis forward to get the calves on the floor gets us right back where we started. Putting her feet square on the floor leaves the legs at an unnatural angle, halfway between standing and crouching - go ahead and try to hold yourself up against the wall in a half-sit position and try to hold it for 4 minutes. It's not comfortable, and I don't think Sombra would reasonably be able to (or want to) sustain such an uncomfortable position.
So this puts me in an awkward position. One that I spent a few days trying to resolve. I knew that I had to change the pose. The issue was deciding what to change it to. At first, I considered this position:
It's a fairly minimal change. Mercy's feet stay largely where they are. Sombra's in a comfortable, natural sitting position as before. And, thanks to a combination of angling Mercy's pelvis down, and bending her cock down rather significantly, Sombra is technically able to suck her dick.
But that dick-bend is severe. And animating the thrusting - and Mercy is thrusting in this animation, as opposed to Sombra sucking; this is a face-fucking animation, recall - requires the dick bending even more, to degrees that make me uncomfortable watching.
So I went back to the drawing board. Pulled Mercy's legs out, gave her a more extreme lean, and allowed her cock to stay at a much more comfortable bend, even when thrusting. This is what I came up with:
This is a notably more extreme pose change that what I originally was aiming for. It requires not just Sombra moving, but Mercy completely shifting her weight and her footing and her angle. It's effectively a complete pose change.
I can pull it off, but the slick segue in the original screenplay wouldn't fly. This pose-to-pose transition is too involved for that fast transfer. So I am going to have to add some frames and dialogue.
But, in the end, that actually works out okay. I've been considering adding a quick segment to the beginning of the face-fucking sequence anyways, which meant going off-script. Rather than going straight to "only the tip in Sombra's mouth" to "slamming balls-deep down Sombra's throat" with nothing in between, I was considering a sequence where Mercy slowly pushes her cock down Sombra's throat, an emphasis on Mercy smiling in satisfaction as she enjoys the sensation - until she meets resistance, and tells Sombra that her pharyngeal muscles are contracted. Sombra makes a questioning sound, to which Mercy sighs and explains "your throat is tense. You need to relax your throat." As Sombra obliges, Mercy once again is able to enjoy the sensations of gently pushing her cock balls-deep down Sombra's throat. She comments on Sombra's lack of gag reflex, asking if it's anatomical or "through practice and experience." After waiting a moment for a response, she looks down at Sombra, whose just staring boldly up at Mercy, cock balls-deep down her throat, and chuckles. She notes how oddly quiet the room is without Sombra's dirty talk, before slowly pulling out. As her cock clears Sombra's mouth, she takes a deep breath, quips something spicy, and then we return to the screenplay and proceed with the face-fucking.
I've been on the fence about this, since I try to put my foot down and not change things once the script is made. But since I have to go off-script anyways to compensate for this more elaborate pose-change, I figure I might as well. I think it'll be fun, and I don't think people are going to complain about even more deepthroating.
So that's where I am now. Like I said, I spent a few days figuring out the best solution to this problem. I think I've got it figured out, now I just need to actually build it.
But there's more than just Overbreed to talk about this week! Beyond all of those shenanigans, I have made progress in other efforts as well. In last week's Patreon post, I brought up the idea of "One-Loop Challenges", or OLCs for short. I showed off a few that I had, though things were still nascent at that time.
In the week since, I have made significant strides in the OLC effort. I have one rendered and sent off for dubbing, clocking in at a mind-boggling 4 minutes. Not mind-boggling in the sense that 4 minutes is impressive for a video - that's old hat for me at this point. Mind-boggling in the sense that I started, finished, and rendered this 4-minute video all in a single sitting. That's the same runtime as Fraternization - a video that took me 4 weeks to produce. And here I am, pushing out a video with the same runtime in a single day.
Now, obviously the difference is that Fraternization is very content-rich and narratively complex, with a slew of different positions, a smattering of narrative animation, and a healthy dose of story tying it all together. This 4-minute OLC, in comparison, is extremely shallow on all fronts. By definition, it has only a single animation loop, as well as some unique climax animation to tie it off. That is literally what makes it an OLC. And as I am sure you can imagine, just one animation loop leaves a bit of a dearth when it comes to story complexity and content variety.
But that isn't the point of these OLCs. By definition, OLCs are low-effort projects that I spend a few days producing, to provide as a content drip while I work on larger passion projects, like Overbreed, Blue Star, and Rabbit.Hole.
With any luck, this 4-minute OLC will be ready to release by the end of this month. And it won't be alone - I have a handful of other OLCs I have put together over the past week, in various stages of completion. My goal for this week is to get all of these, plus maybe one or two more, done and ready to send off for dubbing.
In an ideal world, I'll have 5 or 6 of these OLCs fully finished and ready to be published, and I can just sit on them and meter them out over the months. Maybe release one every 2 or 3 weeks. Gives me a buffer of a few months where I can buckle down and focus on the main project (EG Overbreed) without needing to worry about not releasing content.
And while these OLCs won't be exemplars of my writing abilities or narrative animation efforts, they will still contain the staples I think most people look forward to: my particular style of sex animation, the wonderful performances of the esteemed voice talent I work with, and unique sexual scenarios. Even if said scenarios aren't fully explored, by the nature of the format.
In addition to the OLCs that I showed off last week, here are new ones that I've put together this week:
Breaking A Sweat - The four-minute OLC that is currently out for dubbing. In typical Agent Seven style, Elizabeth has found herself in an anal trainbang. Number Two said her target was a body-builder that frequented this gym. Unfortunately, it seems like this gym is frequented only by body-builders. But Agent Seven has never given up on a mission before, and if she has to get piledriven by every single body-builder in this gym in order to find and delay her target, then by God, she'll do it!
Black Mages And Lonely Nights - Traversing the wildlands can be an isolating journey, filled with long hours of lonely nights. As a Black Mage, though, Lulu needn't worry about spending the nights alone. Bending spell and ritual to her will, she is able to find otherworldly beings more than willing to give her company... and spill their parting gifts deep inside her.
One-V-One Me! - A recycling of the old DVa Gamebang idea we flirted with on stream at one point. DVa is hosting a game night with her fan club, and is reigning supreme at a gauntlet of one-v-one matches. To give the normies a fair chance, she's volunteered to handicap herself: she has to play while getting fucked. Even still she remains unchallenged, and she's set to keep playing till she loses. These guys really suck at playing games, but they're pretty darn good at fucking her... What a coincidence!
And then as a final note on this subject, I mentioned this DVa tentacle project last week. You may have noticed a different tentacle project and a different DVa project posted above, and that is for good reason: after testing the all-the-way-through animation (honestly wasn't sure I could pull it off. I am extremely pleased with the results!) for the DVa animation teased last week, I realized it wouldn't work as an OLC. A critical component of OLCs is the characters providing exposition through their dialogue, which isn't really viable with a tentacle shoving its way out of your throat and shooting jizz out your mouth. I could do a mouth-free tentacle animation, but then I couldn't have the all-the-way-through, because that's technically an entirely different loop animation. So I decided to push this off for another time. I really like the animation, but it doesn't fit the OLC mold. It'll need more time to develop further, and that's not something I am comfortable doing right now. But I am holding onto it.
For now, though, here's what that animation looks like. As I said, I am quite chuffed with it.
Beyond those three OLCs, I also have the Harley and Rebecca animations that I teased last week. Which brings me up to a total of five. If I released 2 a month (one every 2 weeks), that'd give me 2 and a half months' worth of content, if I were to get them all ready for release at the same time.
As I said earlier, I want to spend this next week getting all of these shipped out for dubbing. And maybe one or two more. I have 5 right now, I'd like to have at least 6, ideally 7 - that way, once the Liz one is released (hopefully at the end of this month!), I will have 6 more sitting and ready to be released. 3 months of buffer content. I'd feel pretty safe with that.
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!
A few weeks ago, I posted on my Twitter a storyboard for a reinterpretation of the old Witcher project I storyboarded some months past.
Those images were all made with very hapdash SFM-based headhacks (RE: not at all fit for production) and raw XNALara ports (RE: not at all fit for production holy shit they're borderline unusable). In my downtime, I've been looking into building proper bodies for the ladies.
Between the fact Witcher 3 has everyone as the same exact height (which is boring) and more-or-less the same body proportions (also boring), and characters deviate in various degrees from their book counterparts, I decided to toss out Witcher 3's interpretations of the characters, and build my own.
The bodies aren't 100% final, but these are more or less what I have in mind for them. Ciri is tall, lanky, and awkward, with long arms and legs; and is also wiry, with muscle definition without being bulky, reflecting her sinewy Witcher strength. Yennefer is short and slim, while maintaining her curves and sporting a bust only a magical reforging of her body could justify. Triss is the most homely of the three, and while I wouldn't call her chubby, she has a lot of meat on her bones (and on her chest heu).
I am hoping to start building the three soon. I want to make their base nude bodies first, and then I will focus on Yennefer, with faceposing, her outfit, and full Bodymorph support. Yennefer gets top billing because she is the first character involved in this iteration of the story.
I still need to work out some details of the story. Beyond the obvious "I don't know what goes here" for act 4, I also need to figure out some way to bridge the gap between act 4 and act 5. Having the ladies all spontaneously decide to become fat-tit bimbos is great and all, but I would rather hint at it (and ideally have them experiment with it) beforehand. Sometime once they find the Well is the obvious choice, but there's already so much I want to potentially explore there. I am considering adding a sixth chapter, either before or after the Guardian of the Well, where they find a little bit of Primordial to play with. I've been considering a sequence of Triss and Yennefer having lesbian sex while they're trekking (EG banging in the tent beside a sleeping Ciri, oop she's not sleeping for long!). Maybe Triss decides to give herself giant tits while they're playing, and Yennefer likes the idea and joins her. Ciri wakes up and suddenly realizes she likes giant tits, and ends up joining them. Something like that.
I don't know when I would start production on this Witcher story. Maybe between Overbreed Episode 1 and Blue Star Episode 4 - these stories would be much shorter than either OBE1 or BSE4, so it'd work as a good in-between.
If anyone has suggestions for what all the Well episode could entail, I really am all ears. I am looking for something just absolutely balls-to-the-wall redefining-debauchery-itself terms of degeneracy. The ladies have access to an unlimited source of unbounded magic - they can make literally anything happen. And I want them just going absolutely hog-wild and having crazy magic-fueled sex that they could never have anywhere outside that Well.
Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what that looks like. So I would love some outside thoughts on the matter.
Anyways, that's all for now! Not a lot of Overbreed, but a lot to talk about regardless!
Next week, I am hoping to have reports of more One-Loop Challenge videos in the dubbing pipeline, as well as hopefully that transition into the face-fucking position figured out. We'll see what falls out, though.
Until next time, everyone!
