Achievable Video Suggestion: Lily + Daniel: cooking video, round 2 (holiday edition)

Pheobe

maybe a video of your favourite movies/books/songs? Something casual, where you talk about your favourite media, what it means to you, and why you'd recommend it

Lily Alexandre

ooh, i'd like to find room for something like this at some point. one of my fav things about this patreon is getting to recommend movies/albums/books!

Lily Alexandre

pzuraq - sounds like a super worthwhile project, but one i'd want to research pretty hardcore. i grew up in a church, but a very progressive one that doesn't give me much of a frame of reference

Lily Alexandre

Evie - this is a cool idea, thank you! :)

nooo, bummer! i didn't even notice until you pointed it out. i doubt there'll be an outtake video, most of my outtakes are just line flubs and not super entertaining

maevyn

Obviously this probably only makes sense if you’re familiar, I was born into it and, despite now being an atheist, still have to deal with a lot of it from the fam 😩

On a somewhat related note, I’ve been looking for a good video essay that really deconstructs Christian religious views on LGBT/trans people in general. There’s a great tiktokker, Dan McClellan, who does small bits, but like, I’d like to find one that really goes through all the things (like mistranslations, political motivations, how the bible cannot be like, perfectly interpreted, etc)

Ash Joubert

Oh no! The perfect squirrel transit at 35:57-36:06 in the early access version did not make the final cut. I thought that squirrel captured the theme of random interactions in a moment of natural magic. I would love to see this in an out-take video, or will it forever remain an exclusive Patreon-only squirrel?

Maybe too low effort: What are your favorite channels on YouTube/Nebula/elsewhere and why? What once inspired or still inspires you? Where do you go for differing viewpoints? What do you like to watch for fun? I'd love to find more channels to watch myself, but it would also be fun to see what you like in a "It's not my thing, but I love that you love it," way.

Evie Rivka

I think any of those could result in a fun 15-20 minute video of some theory you already know being repackaged into a idiots guide for our family members

Evie Rivka

Maybe a video on dealing with family members during the holidays? How to gender critical our drunk and around the holiday table? Beginning gender radicalization in the: a primer.
