I will offer a more indepth comment later, but for now, Legacy Dawn and Dusk showed up yesterday, and two more chapters of Heart Theft today. Some days are really good.

A couple of little things: '“Ascendance is promised to no one,” I said, by route', shouldn't that be 'by rote'? In 'the small stove used to heat the water out', that should probably be 'heat the water up'? 'I spoke with Redcoven’s Cloistered Physician after my long Confessional', would just 'Confession' fit better here? 'You have not even taken a full House Posting, yet… let alone trained for Inquisition work' seems like it would be better without the comma?
