Hurricane Helene
🕑 Added 2024-10-03 18:28:56 +0000 UTCWe live in Northern South Carolina and were hit hard by the recent hurricane. This is the first time I've been able to obtain access to my patreon in a week. I wanted to apologize for the lack of end of month content- we have had no power, water, and largely inaccessible roads, and focus has been on trying to keep ourselves and the animals fed and watered. Tree fell on the house but the roof held up. Took out the fence and fell on our power box and ac/ heat unit, damage uncertain since we have no access to the kind of equipment necessary to remove it. We've been going at it with hand tools every day, were exhausted, dirty, and tired, but we're enduring. We still have no power/ water but roads are opening up and thus far, everyone is healthy.
I'm going to beg something unfair rn, and please feel free to decline, but if folks could keep up your support during this time, I promise there will be a wave of content whenever we're back on the grid. Please don't give up on me, and I won't give up either. Thank you! <3

Be safe friend. I'm sorry you've been hit by the winds and power outage but grateful you didn't suffer the worst of the flooding. Take whatever time you need.

Material things are replaceable, life is not. Take all the time you need. Another electrician here, was just in the mid east helping some friends with their house and missed the hurricane by 12hours. highly recommend a backup generator . Especially if your on a well “i assume you are”
