OGZ Progress Report | 3/4/2024 | Wall Cover System + Swap Cover System

I pretty much have nothing big to update this time as there was a little problem during these last 2.5 weeks that I had to stop working on the game for 4 days and that was a lot of time. At least I've got something to report and it's the Wall Cover System which is inspired by GTAV and The Division, well mostly GTAV.
These both systems are still pretty early for now, especially walk animations for cover movement as my treadmill is still not ready yet. I've been expecting to use the treadmill for walk/run mocap animations this month.
The Wall Cover mechanic is gonna be useful for stealth because cover movement will get rid all of the noises and will reduce the detection value by 50%. Wall Cover will also buff player character based on the gear/outfit's perk. (Some perks will boost the firearm's power, some will boost firearm's accuracy, some will slowly regen the HP as long as player is taking a wall cover and such)
The Wall Cover currently works the same as GTAV but I've been working on the Advanced Swap Cover System (V2 of Swap Cover System) into the Wall Cover System right now. The Advanced Swap Cover System is gonna be just the half of The Division's swap cover system.
I've moved the new drawing on Pixiv to the next patreon post instead due to the game development is at the highest priority.
After the Wall Cover System is ready, my next tasks are:
-Actual Stealth Riposte Animations (Knife)
-Rework Down State System
-Finisher on Player Character Animations (Part of Down State System)
And I believe that these 3 tasks are gonna be the last tasks before I start working on the Character Creation System.

It's gonna be a while but the next PoC phase 2.5 might be dropped around 5/2024 featuring character creation system. But it'll be just overhauled stuff, mostly.
