here comes winter
🕑 Added 2021-12-16 21:02:17 +0000 UTCas the daylight hours start to slip through our fingers, so does the will to do much of anything. i adore winter, i adore snow, i adore the cold. but every winter is a challenge for me, a combination of seasonal affective badness and navigating traumas. usually, this is a bit of a slow season for me. most of my remaining energy this time of year gets put into self-preservation, with the rest going to work. i humbly ask for your patience as i trudge through it. i might be a little snippier, more curt, or seem less willing to help than usual, but give me time and i'll come around to things.
