🕑 Added 2025-07-08 00:24:01 +0000 UTCIn a bold move to raise the standard of Icelandic football, KR Reykjavík, the nation’s most successful club, has officially left the Icelandic league system and joined the Danish Superliga!
Backed by a new pan-Nordic sports initiative aimed at uniting the top talent from Scandinavia and beyond, KR is now ready to test itself against some of the strongest clubs in the region — from FC Copenhagen to Brøndby.
This historic change also includes improvements in infrastructure, squad depth, and a fresh injection of funds, making KR a dark horse in the Danish top flight.
