Rings are connected with Peacock Miraculous. Adrien, Kagami and Felix are Sentimonsters. Their feathers are in each of rings they hold. After Gabriel died, Ladybug gave rings with Adrien's feathers to him. At the end of episode she was scared about breaking the rings, because she though Adrien may die. But that wasn't the case and we don't know for sure why the Feather didn't come out with the akuma. Maybe rings are fake, or maybe because Ladybug didn't intend to release Adrien's feather
