Halloween 4-6 and Friday the 13th Part VII (Monarch Research Report)
🕑 Added 2023-10-30 03:12:58 +0000 UTCIn this supplement to our main feed series on the Halloween franchise, Brett explores the Monarch themes driving Halloween 4-6, the so-called “Thorn trilogy,” as well as the theta programming storyline of Friday the 13th Part VII. He explains why every major horror franchise arising out of this era eventually goes full-on Monarch. And he elaborates on the clown archetype at the heart of the Joker Cycle with reference to Halloween 4, where a traumatized little girl is transformed into a killer clown.
