Friday Music and Check-In (w/added good news!)

You know that for a while I've been a little cautious with Patreon due to lack of communication and a few odd things (probably some "AI" bot). Anyway, things became a lot clearer this week when they announced some fireside chat with some blah blah guy, but buried in the email was something about us 18+ creators and the issue of previews. Sure, they made it sound like this has always been a thing (it hasn't) but they finally gave rules we can follow-they want the Patreon feed to be family friendly. In the sense that if I'm a logged out person scrolling nothing stands out. Now, within the locked posts it seems like the old rules apply so I can get back to talking about the file, it's contents, etc. I just need a "buffer" at the top. I've been using ......... but that doesn't really entice people, especially if the title and thumbnail have to be family friendly as well. So, you'll see me trying to get creative (and feedback would be appreciated) but for now you're seeing this years files so far changed to "Patreon/public audio for insert month" as title, and a bunch of .......'s.
I feel far more confident going forward that I can explain the files in more adult terms and maybe even give the files a more enticing name again. Plus, this means exclusive audio's on the shop, stories on the shop are also back on the menu!
That's right, I'm back to writing shorts that will be through here and Smashwords only and novels through Amazon, with hopefully an audio book version done by yours truly. Stay tuned for more on that very soon...
Otherwise we had a heat wave and the central air was never turned on, and now we seem to be headed for a weekend of freezing temperature/snow??? So yeah. How are you all? What are you up to/listening to?

I hear ya on the sleep. Now that the temperature dropped (still no A/C) I can sleep again. Almost was late to the gym today because I could sleep again!

I want to see Sinners, especially hearing music is integral to the movie experience. And hell yeah to new job! Wooo! Celebrate now present Cherry, for future Cherry willb e just fine too!

I've had the Sinners soundtrack on repeat since I first saw the movie. I want to turn it into food and consume it. I'm pretty sure it would be the most decadent meal in my life. I'm a weak person cause a bunch of vampires preforming the rocky road to Dublin would've lured me out 100%. Jack O'Connell and the rest of the cast killed that scene (I was dying when they panned over to Cornbread). My favorite is probably Last time I seen the sun though. There were tears shed at that scene. Wunmi and Michael B deserve every award Hollywood has to offer for Smoke and Annie. They had so much chemistry together their relationship was my favorite part of the movie personally. I got amazing news yesterday! The hospital I'm working at is hiring me! They technically don't have a slot open, but the lab director and my coworkers have liked me so much they're making a prn slot just for me. I love the folks I work with and my job so I'm over the freaking moon. And, almost as good, it also means I get to quit my old shitty job. I can't waittttt to tell my old boss I'm quitting. Honestly I'm a little concerned about getting enough hours after my training period is over, but that's a problem for future Cherry to figure out lol. Anyhow, excited for more content and glad patreon finally gave y'all some answers. Enjoy your weekends friends (: π€

Life has been a lot lately but Iβm trying to keep it pushing! Gonna spend much of the weekend catching up on sleep so Iβm looking forward to that π As for music, Iβve been listening to a lot of Imogen Heap/Frou Frou lately. And yay glad to hear the good news!
