I had my headphones on and I was listening to music while jogging around the lake. It was getting dark already but I just needed some time out of my room. The last weeks were a bit lonely. I'm really lucky that I have Steven and Lisa around to keep me some company. I don't know what dark place I would have been without them. I stood there for a moment just staring into the distance. I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths. A tear was rolling down my cheek, and I didn't know why. I mean, I do know why but I just don't want to acknowledge it. It's better to ignore the truth and keep smiling. Maybe someday it will go away, maybe it won't, but either way, I have no other choice than to deal with it.

We walked through the park until we arrived at a nice little cafe.
''Have a seat. I will order something for us,'' Lisa said.
I sat down at a table near the window and Lisa ordered two drinks. She brought them back and sat down across from me.
"Here, I got you a caramel macchiato."

"I hope it's still hot. They didn't have anything else besides espresso and coffee.

"So, are you feeling better?

''Ah okay, that's a bummer, but you are going to visit us right?'' Olivia asked.
''Of course I will. How am I going to survive without seeing Nina?'' I laughed.

''Probably Madrid, London or somewhere in Italy,'' she said.

''It depends, I mean, I'm moving away from it,'' she said.
''Come on, you know you are going to miss it. I'll ask you again in a few months when it's raining in England every day while I'm sipping on some wine in the sun with my wife,'' Luca joked.
''Who said we were moving to Italy? I still prefer Spain,'' Sofia said.

''Your wife is always right, you should remember that,'' Nina joked.
''To be fair, she is, most of the times,'' Luca laughed.
''Always," Sofia winked.
''Weren't Isabela and Gerard going to open some sort of new business in London by the way?'' Luca asked.
''Yeah, they are. They have invested in a building and I think it's like ninety-nine procent going to happen.
''When will it open?''
''I heard in about a year or two,'' Nina said.
''Well, if my modeling career doesn't take off, I can always work there,'' Olivia said.
''What will it be? Something similar to the resort?'' Luca asked.
''I'm not sure. I think it will be some sort of club,'' Nina said.
''Speaking about the resort. Is there any chance some of you come back next summer?'' Sofia asked.
''Don't think so. It depends how it works out in London for me,'' Olivia said.
''Unfortunately, not for me. I need next summer for my internship,'' Nina said.

We finished the champagne and we ordered some more food. It was a lovely summer evening. No cloud in the sky, and a mild summer breeze kept the temperature comfortable. After we ate, the sun had started to set and the sky had turned a beautiful pink color. We stayed at the restaurant for some drinks.
''I'm going to miss this island, look at the view,'' Nina said.
''I know right, such a great view,'' Luca said.
