Other Things for the Next Update...
🕑 Added 2023-03-26 19:12:42 +0000 UTCHey Everyone! So it has been a trying 2 weeks. I am back up and running at about 90 percent now with the new parts for the computer. Things seems to be going faster and now, I have the time to actually sit down and work on the ongoing issues with Secrets. I have already started making a changelog for the next update due out soon. Here are the details so far:
FIXED:
- gallery closing improperly causing error after viewing quests
- upon openning the info screen - then hitting gallery caused hints to stay on main screen
- Naigation does not re-appear when exiting gallery from info screens
- When exiting before the 11th day, Rayne says "I have to wait a few days before I can go out" - this would trigger the wrond screen, but now shows the proper entrance screen
- Fixed changing into clothes that would keep repeating if chosen casual clothing instead of sleeping clothing.
- fixed mapscreen error with entering Val's home before Val comes and introduces herself to Rayne
- When giving a flirt 3 times, would reset Angela's desire and feelings back to 0. Fixed
- Fixed image for Stage One Quest Info Menu
- After Angela allows Rayne to see her in the shower, Angela's numbers went back to zero. No longer happens.
- Fixed Mari's park action where it would cause the game to crash upon entering the mapscreen
ADDED:
- Added Tips in Gallery Locked Boxes for each quest needed to complete.
- Added item during snoop in guestroom
- Added flirting action before movie scenes in stage 1
- Added new scene during arcade sequence (Thanks to someone... You know who you are.)
- Added a new nap sequence in stage 2
- Added new sequence on Sundays, during breakfast, since that seemed to be causing too much repetitions.
Much more coming soon for this game. It is a tedious undertaking resetting the game and going through each step, and the codes paragraphs. Thank you all for your patronage and patience! I appreciate it tremendously.

Hi Some more info that might be helpful. The "soft-lock" appears to be a conflict that prevents you getting the option "Ask for another photo" when visiting the pool in the morning. (Yes I have spoken to Val while she is sitting on her kitchen floor)

I actually will look into that. There should be 2 at least for val, the third is programmed on my end, but unsure if it is giving a soft lock. Ill look when I get to that point in recoding it :)

easy answer... yes... a restart will be needed. This should be the last time unless renpy decides to update code again and break the game while developing.

So, Here is the issues that will make a restart possible: The code has been recoded because of the new update to renpy from 7.5 to 8.0. Some of the older functions were creating errors and made it crash completely. With the new code, older saves probably won't work, since each character that has the random acts, and the pre-defined acts in their movements (Events) had to be re-worked so their friendship and other numbers would not revert back to zero. (If that's too much explaining, I understand...)

Reading your fixes and new add, particularly these: 1. Added item during snoop in guestroom 2. Added flirting action before movie scenes in stage 1 3. Added new sequence on Sundays, during breakfast, I wonder if it mandatory to restart (again) the game from scratch (for item 2 it is for sure)

Hi again, I am torn between the eagerness to see the news and to wait for a 'stable' product...but I undestand that is really hard to correct bugs avoiding to introduce some weird side effects.

Hi, can you confirm that Val's pool quest IS available in Version 0.2.2B? If It is, then I think I bumped into a "Soft-Lock" that prevents the pool quest triggering! (Have been to the Pool 20 times in the morning V0.2.2B)) Yet in the Afternoon the ONLY options I get are:- a) leave them alone. or b) Join them, Which ALWAYS results in the MC being asked to LEAVE!
