New Jeans disappears from Incheon Airport... Customs Service terminates contract with public relations ambassador [Now News]
🕑 Added 2025-03-27 05:23:37 +0000 UTCIt has been reported that Incheon Airport Customs Service terminated its public relations ambassador contract with New Jeans in March of last year.
According to Seoul Economic Daily on the 27th, Incheon Airport Customs did not renew its public relations ambassador contract with New Jeans, and as a result, the New Jeans banner installed in the Incheon Airport arrival hall was removed.
Incheon Airport Customs selected New Jeans as its official public relations ambassador last year, stating, “New Jeans is an artist who has led a new paradigm in K- pop and has had a great influence on the culture and music industry. Based on this influence, we selected New Jeans as the public relations ambassador because she is suitable for promoting and inducing public consensus on customs administration, such as high-quality customs clearance services and crackdowns on illegal goods for our citizens and overseas travelers.”
However, in April of last year, a month after the appointment, the situation changed drastically when a management dispute between New Jeans’ agency, Adore CEO Min Hee-jin, and parent company Hive broke out.
As this conflict became prolonged, it became difficult for Incheon Airport Customs Service to achieve the public relations effect it had hoped for.
Meanwhile, on the 21st, the 50th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court accepted Adore's application for an injunction against the members of New Jeans to 'preserve the status of the agency and prohibit the conclusion of advertising contracts, etc.'
Accordingly, New Jeans will not be able to work independently without consulting with the agency until the results of the first trial of the main lawsuit are out.

Thank goodness. Now, if more companies would drop them as ambassadors, we could sigh in relief. THE irrelevant and her 5 moots have tarnished the brands they have associated with because of their brainwashed and narcissistic behavior. I hate that CK may still publish the photoshoots with the moots.

Is this just a poorly translated version? I've read another article that simply stated that the contract that wa signed March 2024 was not renewed this year on March 27th. This makes more sense than Incheon canceling last year and just now reporting about it, but stranger things have happened. Does anyone know which version is correct?
